My thoughts on the game: - Jerell Powe and TIm Jamison have been terrible. Tim Jamison when he has lined up as NT in our nickel/dime defenses, the rush defense has been horrific. Giants knew this and were basically running 3-wr sets the entire game. - Secondary played great outside of that one Victor Cruz 60 something gain. - This is what has been the scouting report on Fitzpatrick his entire career. If he has the pressure on him, he will try to do too much and fail. - Duane Brown and Chris Myers have been playing very poorly compared to their usual standards this season. I'm shocked to say it, but Derek Newton has been probably our best player on the offensive line. - Alfred Blue has shown flashes, but I worry about his vision in the running game. But this could've been because of poor offensive line play. - Without Clowney, this is an average defense at best. Nobody at all outside of Watt is putting pressure on the quarterback. Foster is the key to this offense. Without him, our offense will be terrible.
Yeah he was atrocious. Shouldn't be on the field for another snap. Couldn't have looked more hesitant and slow on Cruz's long catch and run.
I agree, every day without Clowney shows why he was absolutely the right pick for us this year. If we had Clowney and Foster in the lineup, we probably win the game and Fitz probably doesn't throw 2 picks let alone 3.

I think this is going to be the gameplan on how to beat our defense from here on out. Line up 3 WR's to take a LB off the field, then run it right up the gut.
Today is the last day the Texans have the #1 waiver wire claim spot. Beginning tomorrow the order of claims is based on the reversed standings of this season.
Either coach Bob is being hard-nosed with Nix or Nix is another flop 3rd round pick for Rick Smith. It can't be any other explanation at this point. Not good news at all.
Exactly! The Ricardo Mathews cut is looking more dumb with each passing week the way team running backs are feasting on the Texans up the middle at this point.
This team needs front 7 help in the worst way... I was searching for FA, and one name that could help was Pickett(big fatboy at NT). What we witnessed was a problem that was an issue since the start of this season: Other than JJ, there is zero pressure upfront. Now we are having OLinemen clown on our guys...Gosh losing Clowney actually sucked... Anyways...its just one loss and a piss poor game by the Texans. Fosters importance can't be understated. The guy makes plays more than we give him credit for. The defense was totally gassed bc our offense couldnt do anything yesterday. Granted that Blue had a nice couple runs, the Texans anemic run game showed it self again yesterday. Hopefully the guys at the trenches will improve their respective games quickly.
hah! texans are the texans.. i guess we have to get used to terrible draft picks and personnel decisions.
Agreed. Ricardo Matthews was pretty good in the preseason and he definitely outplayed crick. Crick has been very dissapointing. They should have cut him instead of matthews.
