No one cares THAT much about T. Jones? Rondo is an all star. Top PG if healthy. Rockets don't have too much after that. Their best trade assets were given away for nothing this summer.

Jeremy Lin is probably the worst ball handler in the NBA at the PG position. What exactly are we missing again?? Chandler Parsons was ok for his size.

If by "contender" you mean they will be fighting for a top 4 seed in the East, then yes. I still think the Hawks are stupid for playing Horford at center. Until they can get an actual center and put Horford at PF, they will continue to be mediocrity incarnate.
lol I get where you are coming from. I still think the target is a PF but if Morey can get a good PG and keep flexibility I am sure he will. Just can't see him locking the cap down until the 4 spot is solved. Under your scenario it could work if he doesn't lose too many assets. Thanks for engaging and having me see another possibility.
More than ball handling i think what basketballholic is reffering to is players who can make players with the ball in their hands (playmakers who wont toast our turnover differential)...we have none atm except for harden, that is very worrying..
