They added Martin and basically Love (due to injury the year before) and his numbers didn't improve squat.

 

IIRC OKC would have to include Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka, or Perkins to make salaries match. That or pretty much every player on their bench.

2k's system for ranking teams is always weird. I think last year we started off as ranked 14 with teams like Knicks, Bulls (without Rose) and Mavericks ahead of us.

It's a load of horse crap, honestly. Like in association, I was able to sign Lebron to play with Harden and Howard and we ranked 8th best team. Yeah, rightttt.

 

They were 26th in the league in 3 point shooting lest season and 30th the season before. If Rubio had shot 40% for them they would have been 25th instead of 26th last season and would have still been last in the league in 2013. The Twolves would have scored a grand total of 30 extra points in each season if Rubio had shot 40% from 3.

Basically Love and Martin raised the worst 3-point shooting team in the nba up 4 spots and 4 percentage points to 26th in the league and 34% from 3. That how abysmal the shooting was around Rubio.

 

IMO if we get Rubio we do have to find a 3 pt shooting PF. Pap could possibly grow into that I guess. If we got another perimeter player like Martin or Brewer back in a Rubio trade, then we could play Ariza at the PF for stretches.

Or just do the smart thing and get a PF in the first place. Morey will not lock the cap down until he gets that PF. I have 100 dollars to bet on it. Any insiders feel confident enough to actually put up money? I am guessing it is just opinions and not insider info still lets make it interesting. And to make it fairer I will give my earnings if I do win to Clutch to help the site. Any takers?
