Who is the better Jet? Poll coming up.

I don't mean as Rockets-- pretty sure 37-year-old Jason Terry won't match what Kenny Smith produced from age 25 to 30-- but overall career-wise.

It's "The Jet" to you, buddy.

And, just because Terry has a antiquated middle name, doesn't mean he's really a Jet.

2 rings to 1 does not tell the story; the JET of hate and scorn, as the Jet never elicited such response.

Don't know the career comparisons, but homerism prevents me from voting for Eugene.

Objectively, Terry. Lasted much longer, put up a lot more points, 2 points higher in PER, more than double the career win shares.

The one advantage Kenny had was he was a legitimate point guard and much superior at creating for others, so you didn't have to play him at 2 and jump through a bunch of hoops to hide him on defense when playing a big shooting guard.

But I'll take Terry's longevity and scoring.

Gotta be Jason Terry, not sure how it was close. Terry was the 2nd best player on that mavs championship team. He was an all-time great 6th man imo. Kenny was a good role player, but was never in the same realm as Terry

they're both great but you have to give the edge to jason terry.

anyone who picks kenny smith is a homer.

Kenny will win a local poll but honestly Terry has had a much better career. Kenny had 4 really good years (1 of those statistically was outstanding). Terry's average year was considerably better though and there were more of them at that level.

It's not homerism. Check out kenny smith's averages when we first got him. He was a legit point guard. He was Michael Jordan's point in north Carolina and a legit top 10 pick .

Kenny Smith was never once called the Jet, at least as a houston rocket. i never got why he needed a nickname as a broadcaster. Terry has been the jet for a long time and honestly was the better player anyways.

Easily Terry, since yeah, Kenny was never called the JET in my day. Kenny Smith hypes himself up so much it's funny. On air he's basically saying, "It was me and Olajuwon at Normandy, just the two of us, and he was like give me the ball, and I gave it to him, then I hit some threes, yada, yada, yada - I have two rings."

Yeah, I hate that about Kenny, the guy is so full of it. Even during open court he always thinks what he says is true and uses a lot of words to basically say little to nothing. I don't know if anybody ever brought up the 1994 Finals, but they should cause Kenny was shut the f down!! If it weren't for BIG BALLS SAM CASSELL, we would've lost that series.
