Clearly you do care whether people liked the game or not, or you wouldn't have posted this: That's the score I would give it. A 6.5 or a 7 maybe. Saying it's a "bomb" implies someone is giving an unfair / artificially low score. It's not unfair or wrong or "ludicrous". It's a valid opinion. I actually like the game enough that I would play it... if there weren't things higher on my priority list. I still may pick it up, in fact, when I can get it for a bargain-bin price. You asked for reasons. I gave answers. Obviously #3 doesn't apply to PS360. For PS360 you go back to numbers 1 & 2. Just because you like something doesn't make it good.

Okay, this is my last post on the subject. I'm going to spell it out for your since you aren't getting the message. I don't care what you think. Not even slightly. I don't care if you score it 1/10, I don't care if you score it 10/10. Your opinion means less to me than the weather in South Africa right now. And, to reiterate since literacy seems to be an issue. Not once did I say you or anyone else has to like the game. I made a comment about what critics are scoring the game. Are you a critic? If not it doesn't apply to you. If you are, show me your site, show me your review of the game, then we can discuss my post further.
No, but you did say that anyone who awards the game a 6.5 is an idiot, which amounts to the same thing. Are you now saying that people who awarded the game a 6.5 aren't necessarily idiots, and don't necessarily have ulterior motives? Because that's all I was looking for from you this whole time.

I don't own the game, so that would be silly! I was defending the critics you were bashing for no good reason. And I've also already invited you to respond to their criticisms, some of which I laid out in those "Iliad-length" posts. You haven't responded.

As I was saying, back to Destiny: A group of gents have already completed the raid. 2 26s in the group, everyone else was 27 or 28. Apparently the raid on hard mode is what will be tracked on Bungie's end. They're going to make some sort of special leaderboard or some such.
Anyway, here's what I was going to post before I got distracted by king ad hominem / straw man / begging the question: I'm curious for the people who are particularly liking Destiny: you guys planning on picking up the new Borderlands as well? Master Chief Collection? Does Destiny have a special something to you that makes it more appealing than both of those? I ask mostly because I feel like Destiny is trying to combine the two. Out of the three I'm more of a Borderlands guy myself, but even so, I don't think I'll get the new Borderlands at launch. Too many other great games in my backlog right now.

Did anyone else not get their preorder bonuses in the game? Me and almost all of my friends are unable to access it. On the box, it says weapons, ships and gear. I preordered on the last day, but still, I did it for the bonus which are still missing for me and many of my friends. Someone told me to restore licenses a few days ago and I did, but it's still missing.
