My list isn't any kind of target order. Is just a list.

Haha to be honest.. I am even getting burned out on this thread. This Rubio discussion has been had like 4 times in this thread.

Not that I am in any position to criticize anything.. I have stoked the embers of discussion in this thread more than most.

Clearly there is something brewing who knows if it comes to a head. I #trustinPLOW but the Batman's one target seems more Morey-like than a pupu platter of PGs- which would at the same time significantly decrease the odds of a move being made.

I suppose things will be clear one way or another after Bled gets cleared up.

The woods are lovely dark and deep.. and Morey has promises to keep and miles to go before he sleeps.http://33.media.tumblr.com/f29f8e5ad3e493b7f1db203e2585c76f/tumblr_mu23ykd8kM1sslk4no1_500.jpg

No. His cap hold is $11.652 million.

I don't want Rubio, believe you me. But if morey wants him and we acquire him I'll give him a shot and I'll support him.

I'm still feeling like it's rondo. Best possible trade match up, but we never get best possible, but rather out of the blue.

Man I am definitely on the rondo bandwagon. I know there are questions of how he'd fit next to Harden but if he's healthy he's a triple double machine. Miami figured it out when they had they had two ball dominate players I'm sure we could too.

Oh, i guess confused me considering of your older lists you used to have in your Sig where in order. Although, iirc they were 'desired' targets

I'm not worried about offensive fit as i am chemistry fit. There are plenty of teams with multiple ball dominant players and it works fine. Harden can easily strive off of the ball all the while preserving energy by not having to do so much. Resulting in, hopefully, more energy for defense.

I've never been a big fan of rondo here, but it's been slowly warning up to me. To the point i even think his fiery volatile attitude could be an important wrinkle to our locker room, if somewhat held in check.

If the cap goes to $71 million and you remove Ariza, he can create around $18 million. That's enough of a that to induce a sign-and-trade. The other factor with Rubio is his restricted status is going to reduce and hinder any quick, large contract offers. If he did sign the qualifying offer, there's the rest of your cap space for a max contract and then you play it out and offer him a 5-year deal in 2016 that no other team can beat. Rubio/Fegans and another max contract free agent could collude and sign with the Rockets together.

The other factor in the Rox favor with this kind of deal is the increased cap and also possibly a new CBA in 2017. Somebody, whether it be Lamarcus, or Marc Gasol or some other break out star is going to take a 2-year deal in order to make more money in a couple years with the higher cap.

Yep, I really wish he would go back in the recording studio. Steely Dan hasn't put out a good record in ages.

he would be on harden's ass ever time he makes a mistake...image running a lineup with rondo-bev-harden-ariza-howard... that lineup is deadly when we need want to truly attack a team..and force them to match up.. :)

Rubio seems such an odd choice for Morey, I want s big 3 because that has been the most successful formula, but i also want a passing/low scoring pg as part of it which has never won an nba title.

That's cleverly cryptic hp! Let's see now. BJ & cyberx return on the same day. Later on they both say we're targeting Rubio. CD and Morey trade BJ & cyberx to the Wolves for Rubio. So it is said, so it is done!

Really though. There's only 1 target, the insiders are barking up the wrong tree, TJ may be involved. That leads me to think TJ+ goes to Atlanta for Millsap. Am I close?

I'm starting to think the Rockets are likely more interested in a forward/center rather than a point guard. I guess Faried.

I thought batman jones didn't say the player? Can we stop twisting words or else it'll spread throughout the garm

This is the only thing CyberX has said today, nothing about Rubio or any specific player.
