Like honestly, all Kahn had to do was make Roy submit to MRI's on both his knees. Kinda would've shown him there was basically no cartilage left. Hopefully for Nash's sake, he gets a decent year for himself so he can go out on his terms, dude was still performing at a very high level even in his late 30's and then he just turned to glass.
what are you talking about? Duncan and Manu are still beasts. Kobe and Wade will still be better than 80% of the NBA only Nash is getting too old and shot.
I'm not sure about Wade... Maybe half of the games during the season he'll be better than 80% of the players. The other half? Not so much.
Getting traded to the Lakers will help Jeremy Lin the most because he will get to pick Steve Nash's brain which, for a point guard, is priceless. I mean, he isn't going to learn how to improve his defense a lick, but positioning and floor spacing advice from Nash will be priceless.
Meh. Just like Dwight and several others turned into low post geniuses after working with Hakeem? It won't hurt, but people underestimate just how much these players were born with a gift that just can't be taught or learned.
No amount of pratice or **** like that will make Howards post-moves turn to Hakeems. "He's getting trained by Hakeem! Watch out for that dreamshake!" Hakeem played soccer from a very young age. That footwork and motorskills/coordination has been developed since he was a little boy. You can't just take a 26/27 year old bigman who growing up was able to flat out dominate with his athleticism and then just say, why can't you pivot/turn like he does?
Dream is a natural elite athlete so it's impossible to teach that, but Nash as Kobe said got the most out of his limited natural ability. Lin should be able to learn some things from Nash and even Kobe.
http://www.maxxis.com/news/corporate/maxxis-to-sponsor-lakers-in-upcoming-season Does anyone know how much they typically pay for sponsorship?
I was going to ask if they will continue to sponsor the Rockets.... but uncle google says No. http://fansided.com/2014/09/15/maxxis-leaving-houston-rockets-jeremy-lins-los-angeles-lakers/ Any other sponsors leaving the Rockets?
Lin: Hey Steve, if your team has the lead and you get the rebound, do you call time out or do you run around the court like you are the road runner?
Dude. Give it a rest. He made a mistake but you know we still could have won it in OT after that, yes?
Nash: That's stupid. You should not lose the ball! Instead, you should just find an opening, dribble to the front court and get tied up and gets forced a jump ball. Much better. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/xWkR4bPsG_o" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Yeah, he forgot to call time out after having the lead in a playoff game. That's like going to a restaurant and the cook forgot to cook your steak. hope he makes many mistakes vs the Rockets next year. Looking forward for the Rockets beating the crap out of the Lakers.
If Lin wants to put in work then I'm sure Kobe would be more than happy to invite him to his workout sessions. In fact, I believe Jeremy Lin already said he's interested in learning about Kobe's workout habits. Kobe just hates guys that think they are great and don't put in any work to prepare for games.
