I love Legend of Korra and i think its a fantastic show, however i don't believe it even compares to Avatar the last air bender, am I the only one that feels that way?

I loved both shows. It's hard for me to say one was better then the other. I loke the more mature tone in Korra, but the arc of their journey in the original Avatar was enjoyable.

No, you're not the only one. In fact, you're likely in the majority.

That would be cool but I don't believe it.

It would be impossible for it it to be as special as the original was. The Last Air Bender series had everything you could want (except answers to certain things).

I would start rioting in the streets if they didn't.

Can they create another series base on this world without the creators on board?

We really are lucky we get to see an end to the series

The third one is Young Justice! I almost forgot about the last scene before its cancellation.. what a cliffhanger!

Ugh, looking at that hurts. So much wasted potential... especially for poor Greg Weisman.

Yeah I remember everything got a bit darker with their Young Justice: Invasion arc. Can't remember how the finale ended. Been a while since I watched it.

I'm halfway through with season 1 but haven't checked on season 2.

I LOVED Young Justice and even just finished marathoning the show and companion comics for a third time. The interwoven overarching storyline (A Greg Weisman staple) was incredible. Only complaint I had was that "The Light" had a few too many Xanatos Gambit's in season 1, but that's a minor quibble. Really hoping Greg gets to head up one of the four series Dreamworks just commissioned from Studio Mir. That would be awesome.

I'm a really big Avatar fan, but I don't think the series would be as good if the creators weren't on board.

Certain shows lose showrunners (The Walking Dead, Supernatural) and still remain good, but I don't think Avatar can be one of those shows.

Maybe it could be like what Timothy Zahn did for Star Wars and might just be good.

But is it still not worth a shot?

Thanks guys for turning me on to Young Justice. Not up there with Avatar, but pretty darn good. I say this with bias against the DC universe and characters.

I'm rewatching Season 1 again for LoK. Once again, I am convinced that they made bending get less powerful to make the enemy a real threat... anybody else see that?
