I'm gonna go ahead and say Batman's lone target is Bledsoe. He is the type of PG Morey likes (2-way player, attacking PG) and he's in an odd enough contract/organization situation that it is somewhat conceivable that we could nab him. Rondo seems second most likely. Then Dragic, but he's just about guaranteed to return to PHX per my sources. And lastly Rubio. Last because there's no way in hell Morey would consider it.
If it's only one, then it's likely one of Dragic or Bledsoe. Bledsoe because he's in a unique contract position and Cyberx confirmed that at one point we were talking to PHX about him. Dragic because of the previous relationship and according to one of the mainstream outlets, we will pursue him in 2015 free agency.
If it is only one, my guess would have to be rondo. Wasn't it already speculated that we were targeting him and worried about chemistry. Plus he is the only established all-star. Plus its a good trade fit with ainge and rondo expiring in case it doesn't work out.
Shasta, I'd like to use a lifeline? But seriously, although Rondo makes sense as a gettable target, I don't know how much of a "get" he'd be before the season starts. If we could add Papanikolau to a trade, that'd be one thing. But draft picks can't be signed and traded right away. Terry makes $5,800,000; add Powell, Terrence Jones, Capella, and Nick Johnson (I'd say "Pat Beverly" instead of Nick Johnson but Idk about that) and you'd get close to the $9 - $10 million needed to acquire Rondo. Brandon Bass would probably be a halfway decent throw-in for the TPE. Just....don't....know.
I believe Boston drafted Rondo on Morey's recommendation as well. All that to say that any one of the 4 that have been mentioned could be "the one". Faried has also been mentioned, but he doesn't make any sense..........so he's probably the guy.

He could be rolled into the Terry trade. HOU Out: Gee (3), TJones (1.6), Hopson (1.5), Powell (1.3), Capela (1.2) = $8.6 HOU In: Rondo (12.9) Works. Whether Boston would accept it is a different matter. We'd probably have to include the NOP 1st. I'd also want the option of adding Bass with the TPE.

My guess is either Dragic or Rondo. I'll go with Dragic because the timing makes more sense, given the hold up with Bledsoe and World Cup. Still, if as Batman Jones say this player is simply "a target", that seem to imply the deal is still pretty far away.
