What should I do? I got my RB Matt Forte going up against my 49ers defense.

I'm starting forte but should I bench the 49ers D and pick up a new Defense? If so, who? I got 18 points from 49ers defense last week.

Not sure what to do. If forte has a good game, it means my 49ers D sucked...

 

I personally think people make this mistake too often, Matt Forte could have 150 yards rushing, 1TD, no fumbles, and 21 points, but the bears lose 31-7 from Jay Cutler pick 6's. Go with the best choice PERIOD. If there's a better defense on the waiver wire that you can pick up, then do it. But you shouldn't ever bench a defense just because they're playing against your "stud".

Especially since both Marshall and Jeffery are both questionable.

neither, imo... Jones Drew will likely miss the game and Mcfadden sucked last week and has sucked against the Texans in his career

 

yeah i had this same scenario last week, Alfred Morris Vs the Texans D and both were productive

there is no way that he cannot pick up someone more valuable than Mcfadden... chances are the guy is already on his roster

Raiders RBs combined for like 3 fantasy points last week, granted the Jets are better at run defense than the Texans and they will be forced to rush more this week since Carr will likely have trouble dealing with the pass rush of the Texans but I'm still confident Mcfadden won't put up more than about 8 points max.

If he already had a guy on his roster who was going to get that many touches, he wouldn't have asked if he should pick up McFadden or MJD.

 

many people tend to think that they dont have a better option on their team than they guys they try and pick up when in reality they just dont think it all the way thru... but regardless their has to be someone out their who is FA in his league that can produce.

but if he were to pick one of them the obvious choice is MJD unless he doesn't play than McFadden is last resort
