But he won't get nearly as many touches as Pierce. What's the sense in keeping a guy who gets limited touches but may occasionally get a big play? In leagues where I had Forsett, I dropped him and picked up McFadden.
Depending on your RB situation, Forsett looks like he's worth a "stash" to me. As was pointed out earlier, Forsett got quite a few goaline carries, and was a half yard away from scoring on a long run. If he punches either of those in, he finishes with good numbers. If I had him, I'd hang on for a couple more weeks (assuming you can afford too), and look for a willing trade partner. Someone in your league is more than willing to take a chance on a platooned RB playing in Kubiak's system.
Kubiak is the OC in BAL now. Kubiak does not use committees. At best, it's a 3:1 ratio in favor of the starter.
To me that makes absolutely zero sense. you essentially talked yourself out of Forsett for certain reasons, then picked up a guy who falls under the same reasons x10. McFadden is in a worse offense, worse QB, gets limited touches as well, and does not look explosive anymore.
I've seen him give a healthy Tate carries. But either way, Forsett might be better than Pierce. That's the main point.
Yes, he gave a healthy Tate carries at a 3:1 ratio with Foster. That only made Tate a borderline RB2 the year that the Texans absolutely steamrolled people. Forsett is not worth a roster spot in anything but 14+ team leagues.
MJD had some sort of hand surgery and is expected to miss Week 2 (and potentially more). With MJD out, McFadden will get volume touches.
Forsett simply isn't in an explosive enough offense to warrant a roster spot. Pierce could have probably had 2 TDs last night but couldn't punch in from the goal line. I like Pierce going forward but only in favorable matchups. For me right now he'd be a flex option in a 12 team and an RB2 in a 14.
Severely limited without Long on the other side now. Quinn will see double teams, and their LB/secondary are not good enough to stop other offenses. I wouldn't touch the Rams D for the rest of the season.
For the worst offense in the league for the past 10 years. McFadden will probably remain healthy for 1-2 quarters at most getting starting work. Might as well pickup Latavius Murray now.
