All I ask for from you Morey Minions is consistency. If Charlie V sucks, then what exactly is Joey Dorsey? If Morey is genius for not giving out bad contracts, then who signed Jeremy Lin? Who hired Kevin Mchale? You guys are the most misinformed, excuse making, hypocritical fans on any basketball team board. If all you do is backtrack and make excuses, why even post here? Please go away

Joey Dorsey is a back of the bench guy signed for depth that cost us virtually nothing. If he gets minutes that's because he *earned* them. It's a low risk, high reward option. It's the quintessential Morey move. Whether or not he pans out it was worth the shot.

I had wondered why this thread was still around...now I know.

Not saying Dorsey won't pan out for us. But He and Hayes are very different.

The Chuckwagon is not just a junkyard dawg type player. He's smart and he's disciplined. From the limited time I saw Dorsey, he's anything but smart and disciplined. Hayes has great court vision both on defense and on offense. The impression I got from Dorsey was that he's nothing more than a physical guy.

So are we signing the best players available or still searching overseas for the cheapest talent we can find? Because cheap talent won't get us past the 1st round next year, or win us a championship. The Spurs, Clippers, Thunder & Trailblazers have all added more talent. That "low risk, high reward" crap should've died after we got Dwight. As a true Rocket fan, I can't keep allowing y'all to lower the expectations for Daryl Morey. It should be low risk NO REWARD

You can't possibly believe Morey isn't aware of all this. Sorry that Bosh took the money and the beach; otherwise you wouldn't be trolling Morey so hard.

Morey's had to go back to the long game.

So it's Chris Bosh's fault we have Joey Dorsey? It's Chris Bosh's fault Morey let Parson's out his contract a year too early? It's Chris Bosh's fault Morey retained Mchale another year? Its also Chris Bosh's fault we haven't replaced Sampson on the coaching staff yet? This excuse making could be seen as a way of trolling too ya know

If it was that easy, every team would have an all-star squad.

His plan derailed, now it's back to the drawing board.

Guys, check his post history. There is no reason to respond to him. All of his posts are bashing Morey, and if you dont bash Morey too you are a Morey groupie. Put him on ignore like everyone else.

Are you telling me the smartest GM in the league went star chasing without a legitimate back up plan? Now it's back to the drawing board? That's it? I wonder what Dwight will feel about throwing away seasons at the expense of "cap flexibility". What happens when we lose another 1st round series? I doubt any of have any of these answers

Because I'm from Houston and a life long ROCKET FAN. I don't give blind praise to the GM when it isn't warranted. I hold my team to a higher standard than you do

    James Harden.

    Dwight Howard.

Yeah, complete f###ing failure, that Daryl Morey.

And he isn't done yet. No way.

But what does if matter? Conversation with you is like arguing with a drunk.

OK so why are you bashing Morey for not signing Charlie Villanueva? He won't get the Rox past the Spurs or past round 1. Is the higher standard youre talking about signing Charlie Villanueva? You're nothing but a troll who just keeps posting negative comments no matter what happens.

If you are a lifelong rockets fan, why did you join in 2013? Either you lurked around for 10 years, had your account suspended and you rejoined, or you are 12 years old.

I also like how you are praising yourself for having higher standards for a team than some other poster on here. You do realize standards are all subjective to a person right

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL.

The worst part about your attack on Morey is that you haven't even given him a chance to finish building the 2013-14 team. We still have assets and it is still very possible and likely that another move will be made before the trade deadline. All Morey bashing should be held off until that deadline passes or until the team gets off to a horrible start that they can't dig themselves out of regardless of who they get.

If Murry would have locked down Charlie V and Spencer Hawes instead of chasing Bosh it woulda been a dynasty.

    Not 1. Not 2. Not 3. Not 4.

    0. It woulda been 0.

Rockets lost Chandler Parsons, Greg Smith, and Jordan Hamilton and got nothing in return. Signed average role player Trevor Ariza. Signed a bunch of former 10 day contract Rockets scrubs, signed Omri Casspii replacement Pap, and traded for old, flabby and sick washed up Jason Terry.

A deadline move is most likely not a move for the current season and is basically throwing away another season. Any move aimed at trying to compete for this year needs to come before the season or very early in the season.

Greg Smith and Jordan Hamilton? Why even bring them up? As if those two are irreplaceable lol.

And you can argue that Chandler is a better overall player than Ariza. But if you look at the stats, Ariza has better numbers in almost every metric. So if Ariza is average, then so is Chandler.
