If the Moto X had a bigger battery, I'd have put it over the Sony, but only because i'm a huge touchless control and stock android kinda guy. Plus i like the moto maker. makes your phone stand out a bit more . What are you rocking these days? You going iphone?
i put the iphone on the back burner. still have the red nexus 5. in the next couple of weeks (depending on release dates), i'll have the moto x (leather and metal bleeds sexiness), note 4 (gorgeous, but huge), or the 4.7 iphone 6.
Alright guys. Based on http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/ I should be able to pre order the t-mobile iPhone 6 at the apple store online and use it on ATT right? I'd rather pay the full $900 price since I don't want my boss (who's paying for my plan) to have to do anything or upgrade. I want this to be MY phone.
Here is a question and I haven't done enough research to know the answer 100% but I read that if you buy the ATT/T-mobile version of the phone which is actually exactly the same as the Verizon version that even if unlocked you can't use it on Verizon, but if you buy the Verizon version, you can use it on ATT or T-mobile. This year it looks to be the same way, with the same model being used for Verizon, ATT, and t-mobile. If you're buying outright would it be more advantageous to buy the Verizon version from the Apple store and then use it on ATT? that way if you ever decide to switch to verizion it would work? Or is the version they sell from the apple store unlocked for everyone with no branding on the box whatsoever? I may be overthinking this but i just want to make sure I buy the right model that's compatible on all 3 networks.
My brother works for Verizon and he did say the verizon phone is unlocked and can work on ATT and T-Mobile but on the apple site I can't find an option that shows the full price of a verizon or att phone. They just have contract pricing.
I just thought of something. on the iphone if you double tap the home button that brings up the recent apps menu correct? Now they're saying if you double tap the home button it scrolls you to the top of the screen so you can click on the buttons w/o having to reach. So how do you bring up the recent apps menu now? Holding the home button brings up Siri right?
They explained the difference between the tap & the touch to be - Double touch launches the one handed feature, double tap the home button still get the current opened apps. The touch being a lighter function than the tap or something like that.
swipe up, swipe up, swipe down, swipe down, swipe left, swipe right, swipe left, swipe right, tap "b" on the keyboard, then tap "a" on the keyboard. it's a newly invented gesture.
I dunno, i tried that and it gave me unlimited lives on my iphone in other news for those interested and have a 4s lying around, this might be worth it for some. 200 for a 4s trade in seems like a pretty good deal. For the rest of the phones not so much. http://www.engadget.com/2014/09/11/verizon-atnt-trade-in-iphone/?ncid=rss_truncated
FYI: both AT&T and Verizon are offering credit on trade ins. AT&T is supposedly offering $200 for iPhone 4- iPhone 5. They are offering $300 for iPhone 5s. iPhone 5 16gb is going for about 200-250 on eBay right now (more if unlocked) so it's a good deal if you want to avoid the hassle/fees of eBay. iPhone 5s you can get more for I think, so probably less of a deal there. It's just a double tap, not a press of the button.
Supposedly one of their promotion cards, so you can use it toward the new purchase EDIT: http://touch.sun-sentinel.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-81328555/ Article says Walmart is actually offering 'up to $300' for a 5, but I haven't read anything else on that yet.
