    Totally fair. Get Paid.

At the same time.. this would imply there has been discussion of Goran involving the Rockets?

Unless Goran maintains a spreadsheet of all 30 NBA teams and how much it would take for them to retain him and shares it on a Google Drive with NBA agents granted access.

I agree that giving up picks and players for Goran when we should have simply kept him over Lin-Sanity (and his ticket sales; hey, I was at a few games, let's not sugarcoat it) would, indeed, suck.

But the reason I like Goran here is not only does he play both ends of the court but he also can play either guard spot and enable James Harden to sometimes slide to the 3 (if you wanna play Wolverine - Gogi - Beard at the same time, which would be a possibility, given that McHale only has two change'em-up strategies: go small or go big, as long as Harden is there to save the game).

All of this being academic, since Phoenix trading Goran is major conjecture (whither hast thou gone, O Bledsoe?)

I'm sure Gogi doesn't love us because we tried to trade him for Gasol and we let him go. However, money talks and if we offer him the most money after he opts out and a chance to win big, there is no doubt he will resign with us.

His argument is that the Rockets did make him a priority during his RFA period. If I remember correctly, even after he signed with the Suns, he was buddying up with Morey and McSnail during the summer league.

In addition, it is well known this call was made by Le$

Dragic'd be worth max simply for reducing Harden's minutes. Also, having 2 ball handlers in at crunch time is priceless. Literally!

I don't think Dragic could complain about the Gasol trade. At that time, he hasn't proven himself to be anything but a rather ordinary backup PG and Gasol was already a multi-time Allstar and NBA Champion.

And let's not forget that the Suns actually did trade him and he ended up signing with them.

So the previous post by cyberx regarding how Dragic wants to stick it to the Rockets simply means he's not going to give the Rockets a discount? I'm pretty sure no one expected him, or really any FA, to come to the Rockets for less money than he can be had elsewhere. So I guess in the end, there's no news after all. Dragic shockingly likes money the way all human beings do.

Meanwhile, Phoenix is hoarding guards the way Morey used to hoard PFs.

And that part has been a given all along.

But, again we would be giving up much less ......in assets.

So, what is all this talk about me being a "troll"?

Suns brass has been saving to pay Dragic. They know what he will command as a FA.

PHX is STILL in negotiations with Bledsoe...Whatever comes out of there until this is resolved should be taken with a grain of salt.
