For the record I don't think I white knighted. I lost my phone two days ago at costco and was thinking what would happen if someone charged me 100 bucks. Costco gave it back for free.
Why didn't you just have the phone shipped? I can't think of a logical reason why you would have to drive 400 miles round trip to pick up a phone you lost a year ago.
