The GS Sparrow show be at the postmaster, along with any bonus ghost skins and ship skins. Looking around online, I guess you have to go to the Vanguard merchant, who is in the hangar, to access the armory. Apparently you still need to buy them though with Glimmer. I'll have to go see how much they're charging.
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/ac...as-of-day-one-2014-09-10?reflink=MW_news_stmp I actually cancelled my preorder a while ago, so I'm not included. I'm going out of the country soon, and I just figured I'd wait until my return to really dive in Destiny. Though I admit some impressions have me a little concerned (even though I enjoyed the Alpha/Beta). Regardless of impressions/reviews, Bungie seems to have another hit on their hands.
Ignore the idiots complaining. If you enjoyed the beta you will love the game. I'm like 4 or 5 hours in...level 7 or 8...played some crucible...Did a lot of pve stuff on earth and some on the moon. I still have a ton of quests to do on both. People complaining about not having stuff to do are running straight through the story and doing nothing else. 2 crucible matches alone takes almost an hour due to loading etc.
Yeah, I'm only worried about having a "Last of Us"-level of disappointment, where maybe the game is good/great, but not as good as I was hoping (particularly with the story, universe, and all that). I'm sure I'll enjoy my time regardless though (I'm rarely that harsh with games).
Haha, sorry I was not quite clear. I'm not playing Last of Us, nor was I necessarily disappointed by it. But I know some people were, after all the hype/praise it received, and that's why I referenced it. I actually just "watched" it shortly after it's initial PS3 release (via Youtube playthroughs). I knew I wouldn't be playing it right away, but I didn't want to be spoiled, so I went that route. Then I waited for PS4 re-release. And now I'm waiting on more free time to play it. Haha. I enjoyed the narrative quite a bit. Can't comment much on gameplay of course, but from what I watched, it seems to match up with what has commonly been said (and I can see some people not enjoying it as much as others).
I haven't heard anything but I don't know why they wouldn't. A game like this would probably have a thriving PC community.
"A man dying of thirst will think dirty water is the best thing on earth." That quote describes PS4 owners.....lol.
I have a Xbox One also, idiot. Secondly, there's more good games on PS4 right now, and that's completely unbiased.
I guess idiot Mocks what he does not want........ BTW....PS4.......better games? lol. Anyway.....back to Destiny.........
I would say ignore all the hype about winning pretty much everyone's game of the year awards, it is really one of the best games I've ever played. Not to derail the thread, Destiny is probably going to eat up my time for the immediate future. I do plan to finish Last of Us on PS4. On another note, has anyone downloaded the PS4 exclusive levels? If so, where was the code? I got a sheet in the box about an extra add-on, but no code.
Is it necessary to play with friends? Like Harden and Howard eat alone, I play video games alone. Multiplayer is cool but not if I have to get friends together.
It's hard to get people from clutchfans to play because of the busy schedule and everyone is playing either diablo 3 or????
Or maybe they don't want to play with you? Ooo yea I said it. j/k My impressions. I started out with the scout rifle and hated it (could also be because I was level 2 playing level 6+ missions). Didn't like how it shoots a bullet every couple of seconds. Switched to the Pulse (aka burst) Rifle and I'm doing much better. I consistently get over 50% precision (head shots) in every mission I play. When you're starting out, play the maps that give you the weapon/armor upgrade asap. You'll get a OP main weapon that will last for awhile. I'm level 10 and still using my green (rare?) level 6 weapon. I'm able to kill most enemies my level with 1-2 shots in the head. When I had a puny pellet gun, it would take me forever to kill any enemy and I was starting to get frustrated and felt like quitting. Strike maps, which is pretty much the last mission for the planet I think, gives out a lot of drops/loot. From playing the missions etc, the drop/chest rate is a lot lower than Alpha. When you play strike missions, you'll get randomly teamed up with 2 others if you're not in a party already. It's horrible, I tried it twice and both times I got more kills than both my randoms and they would constantly die, although they are the same level as me. I recommend playing strike maps with friends vs randoms. When I get further in the game, I'll post more tips if I find anything useful. At first, I would've gave this game a 7/10 from the first couple of hours. Now that I've put in a little more time into this, I'll easily give it a 9/10. I can see reviewers giving this game a 7/8 out of 10 because it's not a exclusive.
Has anyone done the Strike mission on the moon? It took me and my friend FOREVER. Should've waited till we were level 12 to take it on. Once we leveled up to level 12 at the end it was a lot easier but the end boss of that strike mission good lawd it was crazy.
