Yeah, I know- out-of-state tuition is a killer, though.

Using my logic torturing any animal is wrong.....but they're still animals. They matter a lot less than people.

To explain it better, hurting animals is wrong IMO because it points to a flawed human being cruel. Hurting people is wrong because not only does it point to a flawed human being cruel, but also it matters because people matter.

I love how that relates to the topic at hand. A gamecock is typically chickens used in **** fighting.

I still don't see how a violent act warrants a two month suspension and a non violent act warrants a year's suspension. Football logic is f'd up. I really started to give up on the Texans in 2010 because of the good ole boy network.

Now I see that same mentality permeates all the NFL. **** you NFL. You ruined football for so many.

It's also kind of too violent to watch. :)

This is going to blow your mind, but the punishment for the first offense of smoking weed....which is I'm sure what you are talking about, is essentially a slap on the wrist with entry into the testing program with no suspension whatsoever. To get to a year suspension you have to get busted 3 separate times. Under the NFL's new policy the 2nd offense of domestic violence is a permanent ban.

I really liked Goodell and still don't think he should be gone, but this is a f-up of epic proportions.

Which is repulsive, also. I was merely responding to above poster.

I know you weren't- not sure how you drew that conclusion.

As much as I agree that people matter more than dogs, let me tell you- the only problems I've ever dealt with in my life were at the hands of people. There are definitely people out there for whom I'd put dogs higher on a pedestal than them- translation- there are some truly ****ed up evil people out there- see ISIS- I'd take dogs any day over those assholes.

Serial killers are a VERY VERY small percentage of homicides. Having said that, a history of physical violence against a person is almost always a precursor to homicide.

What part of what I said was BS? Are you implying he killed people's pets? Or his own pets?

I am well aware of what his involvement was. I think you should re-read what you wrote, and my response. I am not sure what you are pointing at here...
