I have the LG G3 with 5.5 inches of real estate. I dont think I can go back to a regular sized phone under 5 inches. I look at my S3 and I feel like it's so tiny. I dont even know how I was able to use it for 2 years.

You get used to the size pretty quickly...and once that's not an issue anymore, you'll quickly realize how nice it is to have a larger screen size. I guess it depends on what you use your phone for, but by the end of the day, I have surpassed the 4 hours of "on screen" time...Im on twitter, IG, Facebook, YouTube, Email, Calendar, Reddit, etc...throughout the day, so being able to easily read text makes my life easier. With smaller screen sizes, you constantly have to pinch and zoom and scroll, etc... Basically, a lot of added gestures and maneuvers to be able to read something properly and easily.

Ive gone from an Iphone 4 (3.5 inches) to a Samsung S3 (4.8 inches) to the LG G3 (5.5 inches). I have never once regretted the decision to go bigger.

How has your battery life been? At worst when I was using my G3 heavily the phone got down to about 50% (using it from 8:00AM to 2:00AM) by mid day. Now that I've cut back on using the phone to about "average use" I have the phone at 90% battery life within the same amount of time.

It's actually kind of sneaky by apple to eliminate the 32gb. It entices people to push for the higher pricepoint so they'll sell more of the 299 phones instead of the 199 phones. 16gb these days is getting a bit tight so I was already planning on getting a 299 32gb. It's nice it'll be 64gb instead.

Are you still going to make this half assed strawman? Again, most intelligent people know iPhones cost over $600. Watches cost money and good watches cost even more. Fitbits are $100. People still buy them even though......you need a phone and app to use what is essentially a block with 4 little lights.

Btw, did you fall for the 10 free CDs stamp club when you were a boy?

Let me clarify, a smart watch.

The one thing I'm surprised about that they didn't talk about with the watch is its battery life. There's no info on it yet.

lol wow I'm sorry that my comments have made you so riled up that you're personally attacking my intelligence or lack thereof. All I said was that at $350 it is a higher price than what I (me, myself, and I) think it should be selling/retailed for. I don't think I said anything about Apple not being able to sell the watch nor did I say anything about it being inferior to the devices that are out now.

So, if you really need one, I apologize for spoiling your excitement over the Apple Watch. Btw, if my assumption is correct that we're on the same wavelength as I frequent the WUS forums myself, that if you had to choose between your $350 Tissot (I'm thinking it's an ETA movement as opposed to a quartz) or the Apple Watch, you'd choose the former?

My battery life has actually improved since I first got it. Im usually at about 4.5 hours of screen on time by the end of the day...with about 10-15% battery life remaining. I really, really have to push myself to get it to that level, so it's more than enough for what I use it for.

I do adjust the brightness quite a bit throughout the day though. When Im at home and with the lighting I have there, I dont need more than 30%. At work, Im typically between 30%-50%. When Im outside, I keep it around 70-80%.

To be honest, the biggest knock about the phone before I bought it was the battery life. I was concerned about it, but I liked everything else about the phone. I really havent had any issues and it's actually been a very pleasant surprise for me. The phone is solid.

Sorry about the stamp thing but i just can't get over some (maybe not you) people that can't understand that these phones aren't even phones anymore. They are small computers that cost as much. I look at this "watch" the same way. It's not a watch. It has a watch app on it and it fits on your wrist but it's also a small computer. Remember Logic Harmony remotes? Who would pay $300 for a remote, right?

These are small electronics that work seemlessly with each other and in the apple watch's case it's the first one. The first model is always priced the highest but it doesn't mean it's not worth it.

Point is that i think it's price point is on point. There is nothing comparable quality wise on the market that has the successful backing of a company like apple.

Apple tends to leave things out when it doesn't paint them in positive colors. They can say whatever they want about their processor. It's THEIR processor. leaves out RAM sizes and battery sizes so people can't compare. Changes words up like HORIZONTAL MODE....you mean landscape? :).

BUT, if i had to guess, i bet the iwatch battery life is better than android counterparts. if it's based on iOS, their OS just takes less resources to do it's thing.

Understood. I forget that there's a premium to pay if you want to be in the early-adopter phase of product roll outs. That being said, $350 might be the price for the Apple Edition with the 18K Gold casing and maybe there will be a lower price for the other "editions", which would bode well for consumers wanting one in my opinion.

I think my expectations for Apple's watch before today lined up with the general masses: something that looks better than its competitors and has a better UI than its competitors. Personally, I think it underwhelmed as the former is debatable if you're pitting it against the Moto 360 but the latter is something I guess Apple can hang its hat on for now.
