Chick-fil-A founder dies at age 93

I doubt it, at least I hope not. From my understanding, the son (I believe his name is Dan) has been running the company for quite some time now.

 

That is effing ridiculous. I'm not even a health nut. You cant serve up 2500 calories and call it an effing snack.

 

I'm going to assume that that is their value menu and any 1 of those things could be a snack.

Wonder if they passed the cost of paying their employees (and expecting more) on to the customer, hmmm?

 

RIP. Dan Cathy will continue the good work. I saw him at the MLK location in Austin last year play happy birthday for an employee on a trumpet. Best fast food chain in terms of culture and food

 

Debating if I should get the 64 piece chicken nugget for 24 bucks.

 

Do we all still pay for them though? :grin:

 

Just had some Chick Fila for dinner in his honor. RIP.

 

Well worth it. You never have to worry about excons serving you food like some other places. I've never been to a chick-fil-a that had bad employees.

 

How so? Their prices are competitive with the other fast food restaurants. I think a Big Mac is almost $5 these days, same goes for a Whataburger etc. For that price, I rather have a Spicy Chicken or Grilled Chicken at Chikfila.
