That's okay, he forgot to actually give me the rep anyway. If you can make the Fresh Prince intro rap fit into a Plowman scenario... Or did you already? What hasn't appeared in this nearly 500 page monstrosity of a thread?
Well, Chalmers is light years ahead of Irving defensively and shot at a reasonable rate. Irving is a better shooter and pure scorer but that Cleveland team needs defenders. Irving and Love have never been even average defenders. Heck, for all the hate Harden gets on his defense, Kyrie was even worst defensively last season. LeBron is going to be their only plus defender so I can see why a Bledsoe for Irving trade would make sense.
Cute. Actually, as you no doubt have already heard (from me), the Papanikolaou signing (specifically, not the other signings) was put on hold until after the FIBA World Cup, or at least until after Greece is eliminated, for FIBA insurance reasons. And a player signing a contract doesn't mean "it's done". The team needs to counter-sign it and submit it to the league. They have done that with every other signing. You have a lot of great creative ideas, and I'm glad you share those ideas with this BBS. But the notion that signings reported BY THE ROCKETS, with contract details known to and published on ESPN.com and ShamSports.com (among other places) are not done simply because the nba.com website doesn't list them? Not one of your better theories. Also, it's factually inaccurate. Despite what many "haters" may say to you, basketballholic, I think you have a lot of credibility on this BBS given your relatively terrific knowledge of CBA intricacies. That is why I fear when you take a theory that is incorrect and run with it. Those less knowledgeable than you will take it as true, and misinformation will spread. I try (as do you) to mitigate the spread of misinformation on this BBS. Please help me be part of the solution, not part of the problem. Thanks.
Yeah, maybe mine just didn't deserve rep haha...that picture I just posted kids of the bad guy who goes after Will, when he goes into witness protection.
You didn't answer my questions. How do you explain the fact that these contracts were signed in late July and now 6 weeks later they have not been reported on NBA.com when EVERY OTHER TEAM's SIGNINGS have been reported there? How do you explain that there is supposed to be a physical within 3 days of the signings being official and we have heard nothing about it? Have those physicals been done? I have no doubt they signed their deals. I have no doubt the Rox are committed to them and they are committed to the Rockets. But those contracts have not made it to the league office, Bima. If they had they would be on the website. A contract is signed by both parties, sent to the league office, league office checks it for legality and files it, and then nba.com website reports it after the league office signs off on it. A very similar process to trades. Trades are not complete until the trade call is complete and the league office approves it. Those contracts haven't been sent to the league office yet. Otherwise they would be on nba.com. They are "agreed to"...which explains why they are on shamsports and counted against the cap. But they COULD be un-agreed to because they haven't gone to the league office yet. If you want to get technical and say..."No, they signed the deals. They can't unsign them.".....then same thing applies for Paps. Deal was signed. Can't unsign it. But Paps deal did become unsigned. And now he can be traded..immediately...as long as another team has $4.8 million of cap space to sign him or $4.8 million of the MLE to sign him to the same contract he previously agreed to with the Rockets. Paps doesn't care who he plays for. He just wants to play in the NBA for $4.8 million next season. That's why the deal is undone. Because Paps and his camp know that he can be traded 30 days after he signs his deal anyways. But they KNOW they've got a deal for $4.8 million. Even though it is "unsigned". Now....do I believe Morey is going to go under the cap? No, I don't. I think he'll eventually make his trades and we'll stay over the cap and retain or use the Lin TPE. I think that's what is going to happen. But..........the possibility of going under the cap is still there. And the possibility of executing an extremely salary-unbalanced trade is still there. Now if you've got a better explanation on why none of these "official" contracts has gone to the league office and been approved and passed to nba.com to post........I'm all eyes. But if not....I would expect we won't see those signings actually signed and approved until September 15th....or possibly even later. Because it leaves the door open for a myriad of possibilities that aren't available if those deals are signed and sent to the league office.

This move would pretty much guarantees they're locking up Dragic long term next year. Sarver doing what he does. Can't field a winning team, don't try. Instead appease the demographics in his stadium, ie sign up a white star player as the face of his franchise.
I can't be the only one genuinely entertained by the idea of all these teams fighting to sign Zoran to convince his brother, perhaps they can trade for Shabazz Napier too, just giving the guy a d league run has been the source of endless jokes around here.
