lol Weak competition? These are the best players in the world. Harden has brought his defense. He is assisting and being unselfish. He has been vocal and a leader. Anyone watching these games has been giving Harden praise. Of course you have been a known Harden hater and trounce on him unfairly since I been on this site. At least you have been consistent on your hate.
I agree it's Mexico but what else are we supposed to judge him off. I'm going on what I see from him in games he's playing right now. He's doing what he should be doing and that's locking up weaker players. Irving and curry can't seem to do it so it's got to harder than you seem to think. And yes there has been Mexican players in the NBA. Thy guy taking Anthony Davis to school is in the nba.
Dmo slightly less skilled? The distance in their games in my mind is much more than "slightly less". I take Jones over DMO 100 out of 100 times. He's got potential, but his skillset and consistency are not there. He's a liability on both ends of the floor. Jones is decent defensively and can cause fits on the offensive end.
Ayon also made Cousins look like a scrub a couple of times. Toward the end Cousins went to block him and Ayon just did a reverse lay up that even had Cousins looking shocked.
Lmfao Mexico has the best players in the world? Playing the 76ers is better competition than FIBA, hell the USA scrimmages just to get on the team were more competition than Mexico. I don't hate Harden are you kidding? I was the one defending him all offseason when everyone was ready to trade him... But As a fan of the Houston Rockets team first and foremost I can critique the players as I see fit
Sorry I forgot about the three players from mexico ever to play in the NBA... I should have said, "has any player from Mexico ever averaged more than 5 points a game in the NBA?" Lol why would anybody even watch these games, they are basically lay up drills for the USA
Now THAT's what I mean about proper gif positioning & usage ! What I've learned: Harden is a leader of men on a basketball court when players allow themselves to follow his lead.....literally. His passing game is about to take another leap up in quality. That's big. I know Ariza is doing the happy dance and Jason Terry wants to know if he can have next.
I learned james harden is still afraid to take open midrange shots I need that side of his game to expand before the season starts so he doesn't risk injury running into defenders looking for foul calls
People told me he had a midrange game. Not only are you right but that crossover step back fading away 2 is not a fluid offense move.
Rip Hamilton should teach Harden how to shot a mid range jumper, because Hamilton helped Detroit kill the Lakers using that midrange shot.
Losing on purpose is a b**** move. So I would contend that your countrymen are the ones who are little b****es. Sorry.
Watched every second of every game and haven't remotely seen what you are talking about. He isn't afraid of the mid range shot. Last season he was actually very good at it. The "problem" is he's a smart player who realizes it's a low efficiency shot so he limits them. Worrying about injury from his drives to me is just stupid. Harden isn't Shaun Livingston out there. Harden is built like a tank, defenders bounce off of him, it's one of the reasons he's able to do what he does while other can't do it nearly as effectively.
You are right. He's afraid of mid range shots and was very bad at them last season. His body is frail and is a huge injury risk. Mid range 2s are the most efficient shot in the game. Anything else I missed?
Calling midrange inefficient is absurd Cassel, rip, jordan, andre miller, Billups, pierce all those were championship players. You know what shots they liked?
Forgive me. My obsession with Morey and my unwavering belief that he has never made a mistake in his life has led me astray. I'm beginning to wonder about simple math as well. Harden shot 46.3% from mid range(10-16 feet) and 36.6% from 3. .463x2 = .926 .366x3 = 1.098 My whole life I thought 1.098 was larger than .926, but I now see the light. My deepest apologies and I thank you for opening my eyes.
