True but the Bengals defense is no slouch and the Bears are a sieve. I do tend to agree Pierce is the safest bet, due to workload alone.
I would go with Vereen out of that group. The Dolphins front line is pretty decent but the rest of their defense is pretty pathetic. Ridley will eat into his carries/receptions a bit but he will def be taken advantage of on LB mismatches this week. Spiller is a good option 1B.
Starting RB is Gerhart RB 2 Sankey Bench: L. Blount D. williams J. Grimes Should I sit the questionable Sankey put in a little less questionable Blount or Williams?
Man.....all of those guys are questionable. But considering the "smallest risk", I'd go with Sankey....
Pick 2 from the following: Torrey Smith vs Cincinnati Michael Crabtree vs Dallas Reggie Wayne vs Denver Also, Crabtree's injury was minor, and he was held out of practice as a precautionary measure. He will be good to go on Sunday. 8.
may force, but not a guarantee. Also I think Tampa is going to have a VASTLY improved defense this season. Not to mention, in years past when they've been terrible, DeAngelo still hasn't done well against them. In his last 3 games vs Tampa, he's averaged 7 carries for 20 yards...I'd steer clear of DeAngelo. But that's just me...
I would never in a million years own a DeAngelo Williams or Jonathan Stewart. That has to be the worst fantasy backfield in history.
Sankey will also be playing against a decent defense (KC). There's nothing guaranteed in fantasy football. But its logical that with Newton hurt (even if he plays, he's still hurt), Williams should see more touches. Basically, if I have to choose between two poor prospects, I go with the guy who should get more touches.
I've asked before but I gotta ask one more time: Should I do a trade where I receive Peyton Manning and Arian Foster in exchange for Tom Brady and AP? I feel like this is a good trade on paper, but I am hesitant to give up AP and have a feeling Brady will have a bounce back year. My new roster would be: Manning Alsh. Jeffery Andre Johnson Foster Ball Pitta Thoughts? Thanks
if it is ppr, then thomas is a must start. As far as the other pick, i'd put it this was, ask me who would i rather have on my team: spiller, jackson, pierce or vereen. Answer: vereen. doesn't mean i'm right just means these players (for me at least) have the most upside.
yeah, but NO's offense is 3 levels above Baltimore's, pierre is going to have much more scoring opportunities then pierce.
PFT reporting that new drug testing agreement could rescind Welker and Gordon suspensions if applied retroactively.
I wouldn't do that deal. Peyton Manning has the foundation set for a possible regression (tougher schedule, suspended players, super bowl hangover, he can't possibly do it again can he? etc.), and Tom Brady has all the makings of the opposite (healthy team, finally loaded with good defenders, weak as ever schedule). Then on top of that AP is light years safer than Arian Foster. I wouldn't make that deal ESPECIALLY before week 1. If Peyton lights up an overrated Indy defense, and Arian looks great, then I'd consider it. But as of right now, there's no need to take that increased risk (IMO)
If you knew for sure you'd get last years Manning, and last year's Tom Brady, then sure. But you can't trade last year's Tom Brady for last years Peyton Manning and 3 years ago's Arian Foster. I personally am scared to death of Arian right now. No one's seen him play since last fall. All we know is that he's trying to be the best teammate he can be.....but will that be enough to move the fantasy needle???
Lots of flex options over the next few weeks with Welker out for my squad. Who should I start? Pierre Thomas MJD Shonn Green C Latimer
Who to start at FLEX (W/R/T): DeAndre Hopkins, Fred Jackson, Brandin Cooks, or Travis Kelce? TE: Kyle Rudolph or Travis Kelce In another league, who to start at FLEX (W/R): PPR League Chris Johnson Terrence Williams Steven Jackson Hopkins Andrew Hawkins Ahmad Bradshaw Aaron Dobson
CJ2k no doubt. I would go Kelce over Rudolph, because I like Kelce's upside this year. All reports show that Kelce is supposed to be a huge part of KC's offense
