I'm binge-watching "Better Off Ted" right now and it's pretty well written! I had never heard of this show before, but I saw it on Netflix and thought it might be worth a try. I think the show is hilarious, and each show is only about 20-25min. long! I can't believe it was canceled after only two seasons!... ....... ....... .......
Yes yes yes finally someone who appreciateas the brilliance of this show. With black adder and fawlty towers by far my favorite comedy show. It is brilliant and i always recommend it to other people. I will rep you. It was actually cancelled during the second season. The last four episodes were not showed in the us (i thought they were showed in australia). And later released.
Loved that show when it aired and we were really disappointed when it got cancelled, great hidden gem.
I can't understand why it was canceled SO EARLY! Lem and Phil are my favorite characters, but really they all did an outstanding job on that show! I hope more people get a chance to watch this gem! ....... ....... .......
Cant believe i forgot the sopranos, someone said 24 was the original binge series but as far as i can remember it was always the sopranos to sveryone i know.
I've sung the praises of MI-5 over the years. It's a British show about their spy agency. It's more episodic, but major characters die and I think it's a pretty good thriller in the vein of 24. Less about action and more espionage type situations.
I watched the entire series. The first season was okay at best, but it sure picks up steam after that! I didn't like the ending of the series though, the plot was still going strong and they didn't do a good enough job to resolve some of the twists that were presented at the end. I still recommend it though, like you said it's in the same vein as 24! Do you know the UK's name for the show? Large picture!!! Spoiler ....... ....... .......
Just finished season 1 of Arrow. It was so good, and so self contained of a season where it would be perfect as a one shot season/miniseries. However, it's easy to see CW dragging this one out for however long Smallville ran. Better off Ted was great, a refresher when we were all looking for something after AD. The finale was aired online or netflix I think.
I thought the same thing about Arrow, but season 2 was even better. I'm shocked how good that show is given its on the CW.
Guess I'll have to give Arrow another chance. I made it about 6 episodes, but never got hooked. That being said it took me several attempts before getting hooked on the Wire.
