A lot of unknowns here. Arian and Grimes find holes in the defense The running game opens up the passing game The defense contains RGIII HOU 24 WAS 13
A win for my bday would be nice. And so i can rub it in to my future father in law while he's in town.....from Dallas.
It will be awesome to watch Clowney work against a guy like Williams in his first game. I think he is ready!
The Redskins will try to slow the rush with a heavy dose of Alfred Morris and then test our safeties with Jackson deep and Garcon crossing under. The Texans will try to run over the Skins with Foster and give Fitzpatrick a lot of easy targets, AJ gets maybe 8 catches for only 80 yards. If we can contain Morris it will be our ball control vs. their big plays. It's hard to predict our run defense since we haven't really seen all the #1's play together yet. I would try to run inside of Clowney all day, kicking him out since he tends to take an outside rush. Looks pretty even to me but I think Watt and Clowney will limit RGIII and the deep ball. Arian get 100, Morris gets 100... Texans 20-17
I would like to think the team with the better QB, HB, WRs and TE would score more points then the other, so I have Skins 24 - Texans 13. Preseason was plays that RGIII wasn't comfortable with. Gameday we will see more quick screens, hitch routes, read option and easy-money plays, that is of course after we get the run game going.
Wait a sec.... is Randy Bullock the kicker that missed 2 XP's (the long ones) in one game in the preseason? Or was it a secondary camp fodder? Wonder how he is still on the team if it was him.
When the Eagles come on Nov 2 it'll be another Fox game Yeah it was Boswell the kicker from Rice who subsequently was cut.
Obviously since your question hasn't been answered yet, it was Boswell who missed and he was cut as well. Texans - 16 Redskins - 13
Arian Foster pulls up lame after a play in the 1st quarter and misses the rest of the game. BOB says he's "day to day" and he goes on to miss the next 6 games. Texans 13 Redskins 10
