Make a board you trust and STICK TO IT! And whoever drops to you, TAKE EM'! And never look back....lol Seriously.
Idk man. I would probably just select a RB. WR is so much deeper, and it seems like every year the team that gets Megatron in the 1st round is a bottom dweller
Jordan Reed vs Hou or Jared Cook vs Minny? Reading a lot of things about Jared Cook. Also, Michael Floyd vs San Diego or Roddy White vs NO
WR is deep, but there are still only a handful of studs. Don't take a worse player just for the sake of taking a RB. Because that's how you end up reaching on a guy like DeMarco Murray. Is your league a standard roster? (QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-TE, 1-FLEX, K, D/ST) If so, I would find a good set of rankings you trust, and stick to them. Your starting a team from scratch, you ALWAYS take the best player. You can get a stud WR in round 1, then with your 2nd and 3rd picks get somebody like Giovani Bernard, and Andre Ellington. (If that's how your draft falls to you)
Yeah, wr depth and so vast and rb depth is terrible this year. You need to get rbs often in the first few rounds.
EDIT: tl:dr I just quit that league too many years of a shady commish finally did me in -- I pointed out to him that he totally messed up on one guy's keeper picks (how I have no idea it wasnt a small mistake it was quite large) and the manager didnt notice either (which doesnt surprise me he is a bit aloof and doesnt take FF that seriously) and he didnt really do anything to fix it. So that guy ended up losing a 2nd round pick for no reason.
One of my co-workers just offered the following trade: He wants : Cam Newton Offering: S. Jackson, and C. Palmer. Newton is my backup QB, should I pull this trade? My RB situation isn't the greatest. I have Zac Stacy, Ben Tate starting.
I think Cam Newton is more valuable than Steven Jackson. Whose on your waiver wire? DeAngelo Williams? Sproles? Ingram? Woodhead?
The line on my ESPN Fantasy league says I'm a -19 favorite. My receivers are looking great this week (Julio Jones, C. Johnson) My TE (Vernon Davis) Looks alright But my QBs (Matt Ryan, Rothlesberger) and Especially my RB situation Starting (Gerhart, Sankey) Bench (D.Williams, Blount, Grimes...) are leaving me nervous. Should I try and trade for maybe whoever has Welker this week, or what can I do to try and improve my situation? What should I do with Sankey?
I would not do that trade. If cam newton plays well this year he is a nice backup or will up his trade value. Stephen Jackson is just too injured and could be out by the time you would actually be able to use him in your lineup.
I need to start 3 Dez Bryant Eric Decker Mike Wallace Reggie Wayne Torrey Smith I could potentially start a 4th in a flex spot but I am leaning towards not doing that
Steven Jackson Doug Martin Desean Jackson T.Y Hilton Or Riley Cooper? I hate that I always end up with Steven Jackson, three straight years I have had him and this year I have him in two leagues... He gives you just enough hope to use him but tends to disappoint.
Bryant, Decker and Wayne is what I would do... I don't like Wallace against Revis in that first game and Smith just frustrates me haha
Need to decide on my flex in a standard rules league. Rashad jennings @ det Bishop sankey @ kc Bernard pierce v. Cincy Kendall wright @ kc Deandre hopkins v. Wash Tavon austin v. Minny I currently have Rashad but I'm intrigued by both sankey and pierce
If you need just one? I would likely go with the value of your high pick in Martin, i can only make an argument about Jackson over Martin but it wouldn't be overly convincing.
Unless I'm reading the situation totally wrong, stanky won't be a viable fantasy option early in the year. I watch my fair share of titans football and I just don't see stanky beating out shonne green or mccluster to grab enough carries to make him a good option.
