That'll work for Gogi Berries but not for Rondington. By removing the non-guaranteed deals we basically have til the 14th to workout any Rondo or Bledsoe deal. Ricky or Gogi of course could still be worked out past that date. Is this move indicative that Morley has narrowed down his choice of PGs from the BIG4 or that something will likely come to head by the 14th?

How else does a sign and trade happen? There are years and dollar figures Bledsoe will agree to. His agreeable numbers for Phoenix and Houston or some other team are very different. Waiting until October does aid any sign and trade suitors...likely somewhat lowering PHX asset demands, but Plowman's statement implied to me the Rocket's FO has been waiting for a PHX/Bledsoe resolution. I didn't get that statement.
Because whether phoenix does in fact do the sign and trade with anyone, depends on what happens with their negotiations, as in, there's probably a figure in their mind where they keep him. And there's no reason, other than people's desire for immediate gratification for them to activate the s&t contingency prior to october 1. As for why plowman said that, at the very beginning he said that if phoenix got bledsoe at a number they liked, given they're not a playoff team, are worse thasn last year as currently constructed, nor likely to be one (barring major injury across the WC) until at least 2016, and possibly longer, unlikely to take the punt on Dragic, given all the respective factors (age, free agency, money, won't see playoffs).
Actually I have seen people ask that. And cyberx's response was simply that there were no trades, and he doesn't foresee any. So it's kind of hard to follow that up with "When are the lack of trades going to happen?"
Mostly agree, but there could be reasons for a SnT to be pushed for sooner rather than later. Morey might have to decide between a Bledsoe trade or a Rondo trade or others with more than just the Rockets pursuing these guys. Not likely but? It wouldn't surprise me if the Suns trade Bledsoe well before the QO goes into effect. They're not feeling a lot of pressure to resign. They're fine with an 80 cents on the dollar in return or riding out the QO if they can't find that. Suns only had to give up Jared Dudley to get EB, so even one more low cost year and gone isn't a tragedy.
Prediction: The Suns will some how get some decent value for Bledsoe. The Suns will come no where near the playoffs this season and neither will the Lakers...and so the PHX will have two lottery picks next year. Dragic will opt out and then resign with the Suns next summer...he won't be traded! The Suns core of young talent (Plumlee, Goodwin, Warren, Len and the Morrii) will be quite good by '15-'16 and the Suns will easily make the playoffs.
Not Phoenix's problem, they'd only accelerate a deal if the offer was too good to say no (see Lakers only wanting 1 late first rounder for Scrub) 2nd part, you just explained why Phoenix would be in no rush. Look at what phoenix paid for Thomas, you aren't getting 80 cents on the dollar for a s&t, you might not even get 40 (can you come up with an offer from anyone that would return 80 cents of the dollar?), and there's no rush to that.
What? I suspect that he finds the repetitive slams boring. I certainly would. They show a certain lack of imagination, in my humble opinion.
People should stop complaining about the deadline thing....this is looking like it's going to shift quickly in Rondo's direction....And lets face it about 70% of the people here didn't see it coming. Outside of here, that number is likely over 95%.
I'll never understand the dbags that scrutinize fans who are sharing potential inside information when they get it. Like it should be the gospel.
