Putting the "fan favorite" tag aside, Dragic is a better basketball player than Bledsoe, and will be for another 4 or 5 years. McDonough will (and should) field and consider offers for Dragic, but Goran is the guy they want to lock down. Yep! There's no guarantees for the Dragon, but locking down Bledsoe with a 5 full max as protection on a Dragic free agency? Or maxing out EB with plans to trade an expiring Dragic this season? I just don't see it. With Bledsoe's knees and the way he ran (poorly ran) the offense when he was without Dragic, it would be an odd and risky strategy. I recognize what you're saying, and the Suns could end up losing both Slash Brothers, but they're not giving Bledsoe 5/84 to ensure keeping one...the slightly lesser one, the one that has knee issues. The Suns can't max both. If they have to throw the moon and stars at one of them it's Dragic they'll aim for.
Grist for the mill.... http://fansided.com/2014/08/31/rajo...=Network&utm_campaign=RelatedCategory#!bNhG30 http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...d-the-wolves-handle-the-ricky-rubio-situation
Agree 100%. Its go time right now, the Pelicans pick plus young talent will defintely be moved for Moreys 3rd big piece to the puzzle. Just a matter of time.
You've been awesome delishman...I need to zip you out an email soon..sorry for the delay.... YES! CARPE DIEM!
Would Morey move Harden if the right trade came along? I don't want that to happen, but I'm definitely curious.
One does not sign up for PLOWNATION for the rewards. Plownation is a response to the "anti-insider" (which was a response to Shuad&Roe, fair enough) to bring justice to CLUTCHFANS insiders! Long live, Doc! Long live, Cod! Long Live, PLOWTOWN **That cyber guy with a name that gets misspelled a lot too. Long life for him too.
Drew says the rockets are moving on from Bledsoe, that McHale wants Rondo. Is this your way of saying the same?
We all know that the Bledsoe/PHX "negotiations" have become akin to trench warfare. It should have been resolved by now, but BOTH sides are dug in...and we have other move(s) to make.
I personally prefer Rubio, even if it means giving up more in a trade. Im not really concerned for Rondo's health nor shooting. But the combination of his age and higher max contract scares me. If he has a good season but we only make the second round, and the Knicks come in with a 4yr max, do you go all-in woth 5 year max? Thats risky to say the least. Im less concerned for Rubio max since its less money adn at least covers his prime years.
