You can bet your bottom dollar that if(when) Rubio becomes available Morey will be one of the first GMs in line trying to get him.
I don't see any mention of making a pure speculation random trade thread. I see a poster making a thread to ask a confirmed insider at the beginning of free agency what he knows about who the Rockets are going to sign. well if anything at least this thread proves we don't have any current 'insiders'. Maybe in the past, but that ship has sailed. oh well. and if we get a point guard sometime between now and the end of time, no 'insider' here should get credit. 'soon' has passed (been more than 10 days..heck been more than a month) and everyone and their brother knows we need PF and PG. If i were you guys, i wouldn't be so quick to dismiss what has been said...technically, it won't be settled until, at least, Bledsoe makes a decision. If you assume the info is correct, you can't really expect Houston to just move on and forget Bledsoe, at least not yet. People will focus on "saturday" and the 10 day deadline, but these negotiations haven't exactly gone the way most do. This has definitely been dragged out, so it's not surprising to see these deadlines come and go, without results.

We are almost 9000 posts removed from that post dobro. This thread has become a catch-all for the off season. The mods have obviously let it go and are probably actually thankful that we've done it this way than a bunch of us starting individual meaningless threads. At it's bare essence this thread is about capturing insider information during the off season. Deal with it. And there have been several insider posts, including Codman recently, another proven insider...who actually gave you an insider tip. But I don't think too many caught it. At some point we're going to get a PF AND a PG. I won't say when but it's coming.
Clearly, there is some smoke here with the Rockets interest in upgrading the PG spot. We are all frustrated but this absolutism on scoops is absurd. It is not that they are wrong as it is everything in the NBA is fluid. What is true on Monday is often no longer true on Tuesday. Drew clearly blew his load well early but if the Rockets complete a PG for for one of PLOWNATION's 4 PGs (GOGI,BLED,RUBIO,RONDO) before the season starts I think props are due. #NewClockForOctober1st #BOWtothePLOW
If these PGs were attainable with the assets at hand, wouldn't Parsons be a Rocket? I think there is some plan, but I'm not sure that it involves a significant move this offseason. I think you maintain flexibility for some move next summer. Otherwise it would seem to make more sense to match Parsons, add Ariza, then make this elusive inside scoop cherry on top move.
The last 2 years have peoples expectations wayy to high. Everything just happened to go right. Dont expect major moves every year, youll end up dissapointed.
How would that make sense? That's 22 million at sf spot....You're not going to make it with either of them at PF the whole season. How would you pay a pg in the near future? I'm not sure that leaves much money. Almost had everything go right with Bosh...
