and another thing Rondo is a better coach than Mchale...I like Mchale, but he needs Larry Bird in order to raise his leadership, he is non-directional when at the top, it's evident in his rotations and what's said when it counts, he would probably be a great assistant or go between, he's a glue guy, a very good glue guy, his personality and chemistry are top rate, but it doesn't translate at the head coach position

 

Add McHale to the trade package.

And yes it was as I posted what Cyberex said. He doesn't want Rondo as he had concerns about him being too mean. Others are obsessed with getting Rondo and are disregarding this inconvenient info that contradicts what THEY want.

Morey will not ruin the chemistry in the locker room by trading for Rondo.

Cyberx said there was a concern with rondo's fit. He didn't say Morey wasn't willing to pursue rondo.

The Ariza signing wouldn't be as bad if we can get a pass first point guard like Rondo on our team. A player like Rondo can get a player like Ariza buckets on top of buckets.

Bringing in Rondo would be an incredible mistake. Last year he missed 52 games. Previous year he missed 44 games. His 'valuable' time on the court has been on the decline for 4 years. His worst year was his last year (fg% just ~40%). He has never been able to shoot the 3 and is actually among the worst PG's at the 3 in the nba. Rondo has never averaged more than 13.7pts per game (career is just 11). He also can't shoot a free throw, only marginally better shooting FT's than dwight howard. Rondo is a good rebounder for a PG and is top notch at putting players in position to score. Defensively he had great defensive seasons in 2007 and 2011 but has been average (and even below average defensively) the rest of the time. I don't see why we would want a player who only plays 50% of the time. Of course injuries can always happen but with Rondo we are just asking for them.

 

Pretty sure Rondo setting up Harden for better looks sound alot better on paper than seeing Harden jacking up contested NBA all star bricklaying super hero jumpers in that play-off series against Portland.

The closest thing he's said is that Morey has reservations about Rondo. Not the same thing. I have reservations about eating this bowl of ice cream in front of me but I'm still going to do it.

I called you out earlier for spreading wrong information and you still do it. If you want to put his words in your mouth use the actual words not what you think they meant.
