Shame we couldn't get Ryan Anderson in that NO trade

 

This may still be on the burner. I believe our trade excetion could land him in Houston straight up. That said he has stay healthy for a while and he had a neck injury. IMO Houstons looking elsewhere knowing they likely have this deal if they want it.

 

Anyone know the reason for this? Was it because of his injury or morey didn't have enough 'assets'....

Howard is 6'9 - 30.5 no step vert, max 35 vert, 9'4.5 standing, max standing reach 12,3 7'3.5 wing - agility 11.21, sprint 3.14

Jones is 6'8 - 29.5 no step vert, max 34.5 vert, 8'11 standing, max standing reach 11'95, 7'2 wing - agility 11.57, sprint 3.40

Faried is 6'6 - 30.5 no step vert, max 35 vert, 9'0 standing, max standing reach 11'11, 7'0 wing - agility 11.35, sprint 3.26

Faried's neck may be shorter but he's just as big as Jones, almost as athletic as Howard.

 

Just goes to show, Jones is a lesser Howard.

Actually those stats show that Faried is closer to being lesser Howard thne Jones is. Faried has the same verts, higher standing, higher max standing reach, more agility, faster sprint. Only advantage Jones has on Faried is wingspan by 2 inches.

Save the weary smugness. If the season is upon us and nothing has happened, then you'll have extra to spare for the I-told-you-so's.

 

Knowing Morey, something is destined to happen, sooner or later. That doesn't mean I can't express my frustration of the changing time line given by the insider...

 

Not talking about cyberx. IMO, cyberx is legit.

 

Unfortunately, none of those stats say anything about a players determination and heart. Faried may not be the biggest most athletic person but he's a guy that goes all out after loose balls and hustles on defense.

 

Sorry... Can't count that.. Heart is not an option on the stat chart...

Insiders don't make deals...

All they do is report what they hear, all they can do... Unfortunately news can change quickly at any given time.

The problem is some of you are acting like the insiders are the ones that's actually making the deal.

If you listen to any of them.. they are not saying I will speak to Morey tomorrow at lunch to see what he's about to do... They are saying, I'm meeting with my guy to see what's going on... So basically the info we are getting is at least 2 deep if not more.

So to be honest, the insiders or guys that hear the info should just say "Hey I got word that the rockets are looking at this individual or I heard that the rockets are interested in this person"... This is the way that popeye, olie and the school guys did it...

There is no way that you can put a timeline on Morey, because he can shift gears in a sec and what is good right now, may change in 30 seconds.

Harden Trade : 2 days before first game of the regular season.
Before that trade, our superstar Big 3 was looking like Martin/Lin/Asik. hahaha.

That's all I have to say. Be patient guys! Changing timelines are ok. Don't lose hope till the regular season actually starts. THEN start getting alarmed lol.

 

Bledsoe is hoping the Suns will blink first and increase their offer. He has nothing to lose by waiting until the last minute to sign, which is why nothing has happened. Find out what the deadline for Bledsoe taking the Suns offer is, and that is your real countdown date on something happening with the Rockets.
