I like this idea. Jackson will likely be on the upswing for the next few years.

I like Reggie as a player, but he's not much of a defender and a hot playoff shooting streak isn't something i'd bank on.

Plus as said, i really doubt okc plan on trading him to anyone, least of all us.

And if we get Reggie Jackson he already has the nickname. Mr. October.

Would take this guy in a heartbeat. He's one of those guys who's not a superstar but should've been one of our targets from the start of the offseason

This. No way he does anything at all to make this team better.

Yeah, hindsight is 20-20 but I imagine Denver would've been intrigued with a deal based around Chandler. Shame we didn't end up getting anything for him.

I'd take Reggie Jackson, Kenneth Faried, and call it a day

There is no evidence at all that Reggie Jackson is the next James Harden.

    No it hasn't.

Faired's been a beast since he was drafted, **** even when he was in college he was one of my favorite players. I think I remember he said in a college interview that a family member has a disease or passed away and that he hustled for every rebound for them, been a fan since.

for the record i think hes a good player but imo yes it has. especially when people are saying go all in with faried. he would not fit well next to Howard and i would much rather have TJ at half his cost and at a younger age with better skillset

As much of a feel good story as that is, Faried is not a good fit. Packing the post with Howard is not going to work.

We still need a stretch four in that spot. If we find nobody then even TJones would be a better fit than Faried.

Exactly. I love faried and his game but him and Howard are not a good fit together

Unless cyberx is lying, or we plan on getting rid of Howard, I think Morey doesn't care and would still pick him up because of his rebounding and athletic ability's. A mid range jumper can be worked on, i'v seen Faried hit a couple.

the fact that he's even smaller than TJ doesn't help either. not a great fit period

True and we know that players tend to shrink about 2 inches in height the minute they join the a Rockets. According to posts on this forum, Dwight is 6'9" and Terrence Jones is an undersized PF (no matter what his measurements say).

Faried would instantly become 6'5" and would get killed in the GARM for having no motor and being unable to make Lamarcus Aldride shoot 22% from the field.
