Not sure, but I know my Dad had to when he bought season tickets for Baylor this year.

Yes. It's an easy way to increase donor and fundraising numbers. Plus it turns people onto the concept/idea of the donation drives/organizations. ECU, for example, has 15K donors to its athletic dept compared to 4K or so for UH. ECU also happens to require a $50 donation to some booster club to buy any season ticket package. You get the drift.

I was more of a fan of Ward @ QB last year, but he should do good at WR too.

Speaking of QBs, Ben Hicks (elite 11 QB prospect from Waco) committed to UH today.

4 stars...seems as if the QB position recruits itself!

The overall team looks pretty solid; where are the weaknesses?

I cannot wait for Friday night! This team could run the table, and who knows what kind of bowl they could get in. (yes I know their schedule is very weak.....but John O'Korn!)

The team was exceedingly young last year and so is chock full of juniors and sophomores now with a handful of seniors on defense. They have no glaring weaknesses, but it takes more than a good football team to win. The biggest question mark is newly promoted offensive coordinator Travis Bush. He took over after the disaster that was Mike Nesbitt in 2012 and did OK but was supplanted by Meachem from OSU. Meachem's pro style is long gone and the spread misdirection is back in town. We'll see how it goes. Keep your eyes on Kenneth Farrow (junior RB, injured most of last year but came on strong at the end) and Derrick Matthews (senior LB, total playmaker).

The biggest weakness on the team is the OC Travis Bush. He showed he was in over his head as interim OC in 2012 and his game plan vs Vanderbilt sucked last year too. OL and RB are also weak IMO. The defense should be among the best in school history. The schedule is incredibly weak. I will be angry if the team does worse than 9-3.

OKorn should excel in the spread offense. Thanks for the analysis.

Disagree. Our glaring weakness is clearly our OL. It got worse when Zach Johnson tore his ACL. The OL was terrible in the spring game as well. I just hope we can find the best 5 guys and hopefully they gel quickly.

He signed a financial aid agreement/package. A step forward in the commitment process.

Our OL was not great shakes last year and did fine. They will be better this year and face an equally creampuffy schedule. They're the weakest link, but it won't be an eyesore.
