Watched a bit. Saw him sink a pull up 3 and proceed to get destroyed on the glass by Zimmerman.

Some more recent videos at nbadraft.net
    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/thon-maker

Shows some back-to-basket plays at the Lebron James event. Stronger competition compared to the earlier videos in this thread. That being said, his back-to-basket plays looked pretty weak. He still scored on those plays, but did it with good jump shoting and really couldn't muscle his way in.

I saw one really nice play with good "dreamshake" style foot work. So there is some potential there. He still looks really slow though. While that is understandable for his size, it doesn't really work for the face-up playing style.

He looks terrible. How tall is that kid? He could barely dunk and looked like he needed all the strength in his body to hoist that three up.

    Definitely has his dad's built.

He is in 8th grade there I believe. It was somewhat of a joke, because he is not as skiled as Thon. But seeing as how his father was 7'7" , it raises my eyebrow to see Bol be able to shoot with good form.

Who handed Jameis the backpack to wear, so he can pretend to be a student?
Seriously though, Jean Marc Christ Koumadje (FSU recruit) is channeling his inner Yao Ming.

He's a taller version of Durant. I've watched a lot of basketball over the last 45 years and this kid has some quickness that I've never seen before for a kid his size.

Besides, there are very few back-to-the-basket types of players these days. This kid is more along the lines of what we're seeing from a younger generation of bigs... guys that face the basket and have the quickness to drive the lane or pull up for a jumper, much like Anthony Davis.

Future of Australian basketball imports looks bright with both Maker and Ben Simmons doing great things over in the US.

He's going to be really good until people realize he's 2-3 years older than his listed age.

I worry he is to frail to drive it in straight lines, and too slow diagonally to attack at angles. Meaning he will be rich mand perry jones.

I don't know about you guys but he reminds me of a taller, skinnier, and quicker Garnett.

Jayson Tatum and Michael Porter jr. Are the best thing coming. Both look there gonna have a Durant impact.
