It may be easier to judge a Nielsen box but I can't imagine it being accurate in the least bit. Particularly with my age group. I don't have cable and I don't have any friends that do, we watch everything through netflix, hulu plus, hbo go, etc. I only have an xbox and an appletv. Nielsen boxes are definitely becoming more and more outdated

I honestly don't think anyone is better than Chelsea Handler. It's just that our culture never considers women for these anchor jobs.

So, they are throwing millions at her, and you wonder why?

see, this is my point. Guys want to see guys at the desk.

None of the Fallons of the world can out-talk Chelsea. She is always a few sentences ahead of everyone, except for Howard Stern.

Jimmy Fallon gets monster ratings, yet Craig Ferguson is leaving the Late Late Show this Winter?

There's clearly an agenda being held by big the bigshots running television.

As someone said her entire shtick is talking down b-listers while having only b-listers on her show.

Yes I wonder why they will pay her Fallon and Kimmel money when she has never sniffed those ratings.

The "shtick" sales, and I think her guests are fine with that. To assume she can't do another format is like saying Fallon's SNL news segment is all he can do.

Her "shtick" is also fielding a round table of comedians each show for the news segment. Stand up comedians love her for that. It is easily the best news segment on TV or Stern, including SNL.

She is going on 7 years now. That's pretty impressive by itself.

It's a 30-minute show on E!. Like that can ever compare to prime time broadcast channels, anymore than Cobert can. She topped at a million viewers and was a significantly big draw to women viewers.

Just because young, male republicans like yourself don't like her doesn't mean Netflix agrees.

he's a funny guy but his interviewing is terrible. constantly laughing and clapping, looking down at his cheat sheet for next questions.

People still watch these things? I kept watching Conan longer than I should have for nostalgic reasons, but late night talk shows just aren't a big deal anymore.

Kimmel and Fallon seem to be featured often on the YouTube homepage, so whatever they're doing, they're doing it right. I could never get behind Letterman or Leno. Handler is OK in small doses but I don't see myself ever watching her Netflix show (though I hope it succeeds because I want more Netflix shows).

Though I don't like him enough to watch regularly, Craig Ferguson is the most interesting. If he's on and I can't find anything else, I'll watch him. Which is more than I can say for anyone else I've mentioned. Probably good that he's moving on though; he's been doing it for a while.

We typically fast forward through the interviews and just watch the rest. We love it.

I think that's a fair criticism of Fallon. He's not a great interviewer, but he genuinely looks like he has fun with his guests during interviews and his skits. Like others have said, his skits are what draws most attention to his show.

But, I don't watch his show and have never particularly liked him. With that being said, he does do some funny and interesting bits.

Wow you have a serious hard on for a second rate late night host. You keep referencing Stern, I don't listen to him either. Both seem needlessly trashy to me, on top of being poor comedians.

Definitely worthy of a DVR record of the week's episodes to fast forward through when there's nothing on during the weekend. At least to see the interviews of some of the more intriguing guests..

The parts I tune in to are usually pretty good..
