What could we give up in a three way with Minny / Phoenix to get Rubio and to possibly entice Minny to walk away from Wiggins?

If Bledsoe signs that QO, that would be a HUGE mistake on his part. Remember, he's going back to a team that now has not only Dragic, but Isiah Thomas as well. His numbers will DEFINITELY go down, making it even harder for him to get that max deal he so badly wants. The best thing for him to do at this point is to accept getting dealt to a team willing to offer him a 2 year max deal, playing his butt off (and STAYING HEALTHY), and then getting back to the negotiating table. Either that, or taking the security of the 4 year deal from Phoenix which would then free them up to deal Dragic.

 

Nothing. They're not going to move Wiggins. He's their best chance at developing and KEEPING a superstar player.

Minny needs to go the tank route, but it seems like they aren't interested in that (thus the Young trade).

They don't see it right now, but they have no chance at the playoffs in the near term.

 

Maybe Phoenix made the call to Minny and involved Bledsoe's agent as part of its psychological warfare with Bledsoe. When Minnesota laughs at Bledsoe's 4 year $64 million demand, Phoenix can tell Bledsoe "see, nobody wants to trade for you or pay you what you are asking."

Bledsoe also played with John Wall. Bledsoe is an explosive athlete, plus defender, plus ball handling, versatile (play 1 or 2, defend 1 or 2), scorer (gets to rim with ease, advanced offensive skills, smooth J all the way to 3), all out effort and loves to run.

Would be perfect next to Harden. He would be everything people prayed Lin could develop into.
