    Amen.

I've sworn off posting 'cause of the negativity and know-it-alls, but I eventually break down.

Yes, the Rockets/Morey are being unfairly targeted for their tactics by the media/other players/other coaches/other GMs/other scouts/etc. Nothing to see here at all. Please disregard. There is no evidence to support that the Rockets operate a little differently than other teams in some ways. None at all. GTFO of here with that hater garbage. People love to attack successful teams. The Rockets haven't exactly been successful, but the point remains.

Rondo is a lost pipe dream @ this point. I'm all for getting Bledsoe..

Only way I see this working is if Bledsoe tells them straight up he's going to take the QO and walk next year. Other than that we don't have enough to make Phoenix jump up and want to trade him....

So, Rondo is a pipe dream but Bledsoe isn't? It would be almost as hard to get Bledsoe as it would be to get Rondo. I doubt the Rockets get either - the Suns / Celtics don't care about any of the assets that Morey possesses, aside from perhaps the Pelicans' pick.

The Rockets are successful in that they didn't have to "pay their dues" by looking like garbage for 5 years before competing again. They're like a nouveau riche who turned around quickly in a manner different from how other teams do it.

The Rockets haven't become championship caliber. But you're crazy if you don't think a majority of teams around the NBA wouldn't trade their roster for ours in a second.

You can say the same with Harden. But, I have an question for all... where would Dwight go if not Houston in 2 years?

2yrs? Man he'd have to be really angry at the Suns to take a trade for a 2 year deal rather than however much money guaranteed they offered him. But it sounds like he is sooooo...

Knee scares me to death but hey you gotta go all in at some point.

This is a good question that went unanswered. I would like to hear peoples thoughts. Its hard to say without knowing what other offers are on the table, but presumably they would take one or two picks or prospects if they really think he'll take the QO and then walk.

I think some team will overplay the situation and pay more than they needed to to get Bledsoe.

For us, the smart move would be TJ (if Morey believes in DMo as much as Plowman believes he does), the rest of our contracts are pretty friendly to trades as fillers. I expect Phoenix will take back a PG, im leaning towards Johnson as Canaan hasnt shown much and Daniels doesnt have a v high ceiling. Obviously the NO pick would be called for as well, maybe an exchange of picks on that front.

So i think; Jones, Johnson, fillers/expirings, NO pick for Bledsoe, maybe Suns pick and fillers

Morey would trade his own mother. He'll trade stars if the right deal presents itself. Don't be naive.

Most people want to have control over where they work and what city they work in. That's hardly prima Donna. When you see a GM's track record and you see how he operates it's common sense to be wary.

That sounds about right. If Morey is that wishy washy about getting him, I'm sure some other team will step in with a better offer.

What about Tmac? The microfracture surgery off the top of my head is much more likely to cause immediate and long-term decline than the MCL removal. Wade had it in college and has had a pretty good NBA career.

Yeah, there's no reason to trade for Kevin Love, either. It's still happening.

There's hope for this offseason yet. Bledsoe would be a nice fit, our potential third star. He's young, and the team would be significantly upgraded from last year. Best of all, we wouldn't have to watch Morey dither around, spin the team's wheels and watch Harden and Howard get older/injured while waiting another year or two for a third star who may or may not come.

Ariza, Bledsoe and Papa? Not a bad offeason.

I wouldn't call it posturing, the headline is a bit sensationalist, but the argument laid down the positions on either side.
