He just seemed unhealthy last year(shot was totally off), but it really seems the coaches and mgmt likes having him on the team... ps..thanks for your updates in regards to Rocket news btw
I think that was a done deal a week or two ago, IIRC. EDIT-nevermind, I see Clutch posted he was told it wasn't true, at that time.
He was injured. He was shooting lights out at the beginning of the season. Then he had I think a calf injury. Remember that? After he came back from that injury he wasn't the same for the rest of the year. His shot was totally off.
Or maybe it was that he was playing with the injury but didn't miss games to give it time to heal, and he was shooting really bad during that span. Then he took time off to let it heal and he came back and still wasn't quite the same but nowhere near as horrible as he was shooting when he was playing hurt. It was something like that.
Reminds me of the end of Jon Barry's career. I hope it works out, he's the only one with attitude on this team. ,
lol Tell you what. I am just a fan and not an insider so I am not the one to convince. Send this to Morey and maybe he will not love Faried so much. Also send this to Coach K and the team USA and maybe they will have a change of mind and take the starters spot from Faried and get TJ into camp and make him the starter over Faried and Cousins and so on. They are the ones high on him. I agree with them but have no say so. Good luck.
Cyber came back from his meeting with Bledsoe is on the cards for us, not a lot of information other than Rockets FO are considering pushing for him, RV6 made a thread about this as im sure you are aware. Morey is reluctant to go into it because of injury concerns and a contract tying him up past the 2016 jackpot. FO are questioning why Harden is playing such great defense under coach K and not McHale.. the seeds of unrest are being sown Also he is quite high on papa, which is good to see. Nothing really news worthy other than that
Like Faried too but Rockets already have a Faried lite in Adrien. Adrien has improved since we last had him in Houston.
Change of events?? Bledsoe became more injury prone, Morey no longer seeking 3rd star - upgrades at 1 and/or 4, PHX said F U, Dragic has improved his taste in flat screens???? Plowman still says wait and so I will continue to hold out hope.
If Morey only offered 2 years, then the "change of events" is clearly someone offering him more. TBH, at least from a money perspective, it's unlikely the Rockets offer is the best. The only question is, whether or not this other team that will pay him more, will also be willing to pay Phoenix enough in a trade to get them interested.
