That's right. But in one post cyberx said Bledsoe is looking less likely than it did last night, and he dismissed out of hand the idea of the Rockets acquiring Dragic. I'm just trying to set the record straight on who said what. Plowman said we're getting either Bledsoe or Dragic*, and cyberx seems to suggest that it isn't happening. *Was later changed to Bledsoe or Dragic or Rondo or Rubio (wtf rubio why?!?!)
I don't get why people keep saying Plowman didn't give us a concrete date for things to happen. It's just he wasn't as adamant via twitter so it was overlooked by most. As things stand now, we were never close to signing either Bledsoe or Dragic. So, if you still believe in both Drew and Plowman, good for you. But if you think Drew is a fraud, well, so should be Plowman...
I've been consciously trying to avoid the GARM but RUBIO???.... WTF??... Where is this coming from??? Why, why why is his name out there? Haven't seen anything elsewhere about him, and nothing in forever about Rondo.
As foolish as I feel for doing it, I am willing to wait for this alleged "7-10 days" claim for "major news" that Plowman mentioned. cyberx seems much more likely to be right, though.
Not in my view. Lin is a high quality bench player, no matter how hated or overpaid, loosing him still hurts this team, we also lost our 2015 first with him another gut punch with in it's self, Parsons is better and younger then Ariza, yes he cost more but it was still a downgrade, loosing Asik just plain hurts, now we will have a big whole on defense and rebounding when Howard leaves the game, yes I know he was likely to leave next off season but still, it hurts our roster for next year. All that, no Bosh, Anthony, Lowry, Love, Dragic, Bledsoe... this off season really hurt. I feel it would have been saved and I would have felt okay if we could pull an upgrade like Rondo/Rubio/Dragic/Bledsoe/Faried/Millsap etc but if we don't and just stand pat, this off season would have been absolutely awful. Morey really ****ed this one up.
Nowhere credible. I would leave the GARM too but I am a weak man. So here I stay, hoping against all reason that what these "insiders" say is true, and waiting to either sing their praises or give them sh** when the happenings actually play out.
To be clear, I think Plowman does hear things. I doubt he'd make up stuff like that. It's just it seems his "sauce" is shady at best.
I don't see any reason for the Nuggets to extend him at the rate he is probably asking for (which would probably be the max anyways since everyone feels they are worth it now). I believe the Nuggets can make him a RFA this next Summer. I don't really see the urgency for them to trade him for any reason but to potentially avoid the situation Bledsoe/Suns & Monroe/Pistons are in which I see as more of freak occurrences due to a stronger than projected free agent class. The market ran out of money quicker than one would have thought. Next Summer teams should be able to project better, and prepare their finances better now knowing clearer who will be or wont be free agents. As of now it looks like Faried will probably get overpaid next year in free agency, but who knows what kind of season he will have? I think most teams trading for him will be smart enough to know that they need to be willing to walk from him in free agency next Summer if the $ amount is too high which could very well keep the offers to a price point that makes it not worth it for the Nuggets to trade him in the first place. He's just as valuable to them as he is anywhere else. I don't see them moving him. I see the Nuggets playing this year out with him, and making a decision based on how crazy an offer he gets in RFA.
as bad as you make it sound its funny how the rockets are still a 50+ win team and just as easily can make a run in the playoffs..calm down and stop overreacting
Cyber's news only came after the Phoenix news guy put out Bledsoe was being shopped and Sheridan posted that hypothetical trade from Dreamshake. That's how most trade rumors start. Hypotetical trades are mistaken as news by the public. It used happen every week when Sam Smith had a newspaper column. If the Suns are dealing Bledsoe as the Phoenix reporter has claimed it would seem loigical that kills any potential Dragic deal.
Yep, that was a nice hedge. He also said we would get an undisclosed upgrade at 4. Not a reach to imagine Morey has kicked the tires to see if there are any available 1s or 4s when he is on record that those are the two positions in need of upgrading. When your predictions start getting more vague, you cross the line from prophet to fortune teller.
Always love CyberX's insight but its #Plowtime. He's been way deep on this story for a hot month now, well before anyone else.
ok Well I read that Denver is trying to get him to sign an extension. If true and Faried refuses then maybe Nugs want to see if they can upgrade in other ways.
exactly..why are people assuming faried is an upgrade on defense. its more of just energy and hussle more than anything.
