Are you sure? Doesn't really make sense that Morey has been chasing Rondo all this time, starting when he was a lot less removed from his injury. It would make more sense that he thinks Bledsoe is too injury prone for the kind of contract he seems to want.
Thanks for the info, Cyber! I am still surprised that McHale survived this offseason. We underachieved significantly last season. Rockets aren't the type to fire a guy midway through the season, so it looks like one more year with McHale at least. But hopefully we get rid of him if we underachieve again this season.
LOL!!! Good luck with stopping them... Let me know if it works or not.... Love the info you're giving... T_Man
I doubt if he wants to give the max for Bledsoe, but if he loved the team as it is, he wouldn't be exploring the chances of upgrading it.
He posted the response almost immediately after a poster asked if the Rockets would switch their sights to Rondo if Bledsoe isn't an option. This was the post he responded to.
Not sure why so many people here have convinced themselves we have a shot at Dragic. A Rondo or Bledsoe is more realistically attainable, though I doubt either are on the roster when the season starts. Faried is intriguing though, he'd definitely add some toughness and defense.
One thing to consider with Faried..... His contract expires next year, but he will be a RFA. Why is that important? Because it leaves us with two options in our favor: 1) He signs the QO and becomes an UFA in 2016, when we will be going after Durant. 2) He signs a reasonable (Ibaka-like) contract and becomes a trade asset.

Despite the good/bad news cyberx has given us should we still look forward to Plowman's deadline/countdown?
One of Dragic or Bledsoe will not be in Phoenix past this season. Bledsoe is a restricted FA now and Dragic will be unrestricted next summer. Both want big pay days and play the same position. They also have 8 million a year invested in isaiah thomas, another point guard. Phoenix could be just posturing. Of the teams that would trade for either player, who can realistically trump the Pelicans 1st and Terrance Jones(or D-Mo) offer.
How is anything I said delusional? I am not throwing support behind any one insider, nor am I trying to argue with you. You speak of Doc Rocket.....you know why he doesn't post much here anymore right? Ask around.. And no disrespect to Clutch, but just because he does not vouch for someone does not mean their info is bad. He does not in fact know everyone connected to the Rockets - nor has he ever claimed to. All in all, we are all just fans here. We come here to talk about our team, and should be grateful for any insider info we get. Whether or not you think it is legit is on you. The whining and crying on the "who's who of insiders" has jumped the shark and is really devaluing the conversations held on this forum. This is not the same Clutchfans it once was, and when people act like you are it makes it that much less pleasant. Cheers!
lol and when did you get the idea that I attempt to make sense of EVERY post? See this was exactly what I was trying to ask: WHAT WAS THE LOGIC BEHIND YOUR POST? There are sarcasms that work (with logic) and there are ones that don't (like yours). I did not get what you said, raised a question, expected a civilized response (or sarcasm that works), and ended up being attacked by some lowly non-argument on the number of posts I have. Guess what? Even Clutch started with 28 posts. Even you started with 28 not-so-effective jokes/sarcasm. Oh and wait, did cyberx get you joke?
