Sounds exactly like what most of us were saying already:

Unless we get a 3rd team in there, the Rockets have nothing the Suns would want.

Sounds about right, and meshes with what cyberx said.

I think the more important question is why does what he say or if others believe him cause you such anger and distress? I mean it's not like you have to read his posts or click on the thread. And how does what others believe have any impact on you at all. Comments like this only show how much power you're willing to give to others or unable to retain for yourself. Relax man....it's just a sports fan forum....nothing else going on in the off season.

Did we just start a 300 page thread about a post in another thread which the author (cyberx) didn't deem worthy of its own thread? It's not like cyberx is shy to start new threads.

The dude didn't think his post was worthy of its own thread.

Yeah. Seems to me we are focused on Durant.

I could see us trading for Dragic, signing him to a big deal next year, and then flipping both he and Ariza in a SnT for Durant in summer 2016.

OKC would still be formidable, and it would kind of be the "Miami post Lebron" route.

    Westbrook
    Dragic
    Ariza
    Ibaka
    Adams

    That's a very good team.

That sounds more like roe4christ has gone to join their board. That guy is incredibly condescending to Bledsoe. We'll wait him out and then trade him at the deadline, the hell team lets that leak?

Focusing on Durant is so stupid. Its just wasting another two years of H&H. and Howard isn't getting any younger. There is no reason H&H can't win us a ring. Fix the damn coaching issue Morey

    I agree.

A Howard-Harden-Durant combo would be lethal. But we can't wait for that.

I'm actually surprised there aren't more Rockets fans who are aware of that. After years of unsuccessfully pursuing superstars (Chris Bosh (twice), Deron Williams, Carmelo Anthony (twice), Dwight Howard from Orlando), we should know how hard it is to get a star player. Now that we finally have two, we need to focus on finding the complementary players to make a championship team now, not wait for years for maybe possibly a small chance of having one.

I think Morey will try to obtain Bledsoe if he is still around, or Dragic ( more unlikely) or Faried etc around the February deadline. We can't get anyone of note unless our role players develop, and become tradable.

Exactly. Morey is just creating hope to expand his contract. When is his contract up? We did the same thing with Yao and Mac. They didn't get help till the end.

I doubt Morey is just waiting for Durant. If he can get another key piece he will do so but he needs the flexibility to get that player.

If he wanted to wait for Durant then he wouldn't have tried to get Melo or Bosh.

Ah, I see. It's from another CF poster. I was wondering if it was from a credible media source.

After missing Durant, then Morey fans could say Morey is focusing on Lebron again, is this so stupid?

He got a 5 year extension just before the Dwight Howard signing. So it's not about getting a contract extension because even then Morey has said he would consider leaving after his contract because he never planned to be a GM forever.

The TMac and Yao years were mostly the fault of Dawson. Dawson kept giving huge money to players like Swift, Derek Anderson and the like rather than players that could have greatly improved the team. It wasn't until Morey was the guy that they got help like Landry, Scola, Artest but even then Morey had to deal with all of Dawson's bad contracts.

If Morey believes that we need one more significant piece then we have really no reason to question it completely. Not saying he is the best GM ever of whatever but he usually gets stuff right.

I wish this board would let go of the Durant pipe dream.

    Could have always drafted him.
    Over Marcus Morris.
