He's dreaming if he thinks he can upgrade the PG spot AND get Faried, but Faried is not dreaming whatsoever. He was on the trading block at the deadline and has one year left on his deal that Denver might not be looking to pay big $. People thought Dion Waiters (or Shump) would be enough at the deadline so I doubt his stock has risen a ton since then. I remember an article that suggested Motiejunas, Canaan, 2014 2nd round pick (via NYK), 2015 2nd round pick for Faried would be fair at the time.

I wouldn't be surprised if the price has gone up, but I'm not sure Denver is super locked into keeping him. Faried and Hickson are pretty similar and they have Hickson locked up for much cheaper than Faried will be next year. You never know!
Not going against what you say, but wouldn't that piss either nash or dragic off because of who starts and who comes off the bench? Would still mean 4 pgs on their roster.

also i think they want nash to be there for ennis/IT so he can mentor them. but i don't think they are going to trade randle or lin so what the hell do they have?
