So, hypothetically speaking, if there was a religious group that had beliefs that were counter to the very core of what makes America "the land of the free", that they should voluntarily self-deport to someplace that more closely matches their belief system?

That would entail that all the Abrahamic religous folks would have to vacate since all three have similar moral doctrines.

O you think the Bible taken literally is compatable with the " land of the free"? That's cute.

Your fun little straw man argument doesn't answer the question and doesn't further the conversation.

Also, perhaps you should say that to GladiatoRowdy, not me because that's his theory, not mine.

This issue is pointless as Muslim Americans are probably the most secular group of Muslims on the planet. If anyone honestly has a legitatmate concern of Muslim Americans trying to legistlate Sharia Law or something along those lines they are just paranoid and uninformed or take too much credence to random anecodatal evidence of a random judge who ruled in favor of a random Muslim in some small town and perceive that as Muslims taking over America.

The issue wasn't anything related to Muslims, read over what I said again and you'll see no references to them. I was just pointing out ironically hypocritical comments.

And I agree with GladiatoRowdy to an extent. If one does not believe in religious freedom(as long as it doesn't infringe on other freedoms) they don't deserve to be an American citizen.

I'll play your game though. If Nazism was almost 2000 years old it would adapt and change into more moderate forms. Islam, Christianity, and Jewdiasm at their cores are as disgusting as Nazism. 1000+ years of secular morality injected in to them has allowed them to become accepted beliefs around the planet. Today more Muslims follow their holy book more literally than Christians and Jews. But in the United States most Muslims don't.

Mist religous followers do not derive their morality from religous text today. They instead have preconcied notions of morality usually derived from human empathy and a sense of belonging(being accepted) and selectively follow their religous text.

please. nazism nearly wiped out a great group of people in 5 years. imagine what they'd do in 2000 years. look how many people die because of islam in the last 15 years. no one is giving moslems that long either. they need to go back home to saudi arabia and afghanistan.

How about a non-hypothetical. All of the conservative blowhards who think that law-abiding American Muslims should be deported should either STFU or GTFO. Religious freedom is one of the cornerstones of our Republic. You're welcome to be a conservative blowhard, you're welcome to opine about anything you like (another of the cornerstones), but if your opinion is that we should deport people simply because of their religion, I will deride your opinion as antithetical to our country's founding documents.

I'm sorry if you actually believe the idiots who tell you that Muslims' beliefs are somehow incompatible with American ideals (which is what I think you were trying to get at with your hypothetical). If that is the case, you can choose not to believe the liars, you are allowed to ignore those morons and look at the facts instead.

How about you answer the question instead of going on a rant?

You do realize that "Nazi" is not a religious belief, right?

You should also know that, if you look at the whole of history, Christians have killed far more people because of their religion than Muslims have.

You should also know that you're spelling Muslim wrong, repeatedly.

LOL, well I get that you won't answer because it would just show the hypocrisy of your previous statement. I hope you learned something and won't make ridiculous comments like that in the future.

i know it's not. it's an ideology like islam.

those weren't real christians, and if they did kill people it was pagans or enemies of christ.

there is no right way to spell an arabian word. this is the way i was taught. i could say your spelling it wrong.
