If there is a trial, do you think it will take place in Ferguson? What do you think the Jury will look like?

Yeah, I sort of doubt he and his buddy were cigar aficionados. Still, irrelevant.

If the officer's defense team care about a fair trial, it will be anywhere but Ferguson. It shouldnt even be close to Ferguson.

Hopefully after voir dire they can find 12 people who won't be jaded by the media and race war.'

Agreed, the fact that he was a pothead has nothing to do with what happened.

If he treated the cop like he treated the store clerk it's no wonder the story has a bad ending.

Almost 7 years and not one sustained complaint or lawsuit. [IMG]

Hopefully it's like that old movie 12 angry men. Those guys would figure out the truth. They got that Puerto Rican kid off the hook with less evidence on the table. A cop shooting a crazy pot head should be a cake walk ;)

When the onion is peeled one layer at a time it sure paints a different picture than the one the mainstream media is doing it's best to portray. When the onion is peeled all the way we may know most if not all of the actual facts in this case. At first it sure looked like the cop was guilty but now that a few layers have been peeled, the cops guilt is not quite so clear cut.

Onions are white. They are still white after each layer is peeled off. This is how some will see this case.

You sound like a bad human being. Which would make you a bad cop. Fortunately you probably work as a suburban cop who probably spends more time handing out speeding tickets than policing a community.

Sadly you are probably right. Some people are so blinded by race, they will not look at the big picture. If the cop is guilty he should fry. I don't care if he is white, black, or purple. If he is found innocent based on the facts then so be it.

You mean the case where the officer said to other officers and dozens of people that he was going to tase Grant as he attempted to get to his waist band, and instead pulled his service revolver and shot him in the back?

The cop was sentenced to involuntary manslaughter. Do you seriously believe the officer intended to pull his gun and shoot Grant in the back with videotape rolling and dozens of witnesses????

So out of all the people who gave their side of the story on what happened nobody is gonna believe any of them?

Well the person or persons who said he was shot in the back have been proved to be liars by the autopsy. We all need to wait for the facts before deciding guilt. This does not have to be black and white unless you are blinded by race. If the facts prove the cop is guilty the so be it and justice should be served (not mob justice but actual justice from our judicial system ie: innocent until proven guilty). If they prove otherwise then everyone should accept that.
