I made my wife play Outlast briefly, she got really pissed off at me (especially since I didn't want to play it myself). Can't get her to touch PT, haha. The actual game will be different, but yes -- it's a teaser for "Silent Hills". Cool, yeah don't get me wrong I really like the game. It just hasn't blown me away or stuck it's claws in me so to speak. I'll probably play a bit more tonight.
Is anyone disappointed in Watch Dogs? I just started and put in a few hours. The map is just bland. GTA V really spoiled me when it comes to the amount liveliness in the map. I think the hacking is cool and I like playing stealthily but so far I don't like that there are instances where you are forced to start shooting. I think I will just beat the game and then trade it in or something.
What do you mean it will be different? It's great the way it is. I hope they don't go back to 3rd person view.
I bought the last of us remastered about a week ago. IMO, it ranks up in my list of top 10 best games I've ever played. The graphics and gameplay is great but what truly makes it special is the story, characters, and dialogue. It sounds kinda gay to say lol,but rarely does a game made me feel emotionally invested in these characters like TLOU. IMHO, this is what the walking dead tv series should have been.
I played it for about 3 hours, got bored and traded it in. I was very disappointed. My understanding is they're debating whether it'll be first or third. I'm guessing it'll be third due to the guy from Walking Dead being cast. More specifically, the things you deal with in PT won't be in the game. It's simply to show you the type of scares they're going for. I'll keep playing it! Ever played the Walking Dead Season 1? I'm hard pressed to find a game that made me feel attached to characters like that.
I have it on PC and the game isn't good. You can't even save in the PC version. I did 4-5 missions and my game crashed. Restarted and the game didn't save my progress. Driving a car feels like driving a boat, I had more fun with Sleeping Dogs.
I've heard it will be third person when you're in an open area and switch to first person when you're inside a house. I believe one of the previous Silent Hill games was like this. Correct me if I'm wrong
It starts a little slow at first, but it gets better. I've only played TWD season 1 demo. I heard a lot of good things about it. Although, I'm not so sure about the game play. Its more of a "point and click" type of game.
If you end up thinking it's good, but not the greatest thing since sliced bread, then you're not alone. I made a couple posts about it in the dedicated thread... long story short is I liked it, I miiiiiight play it again eventually, but I had little nagging issues with it that all added up to me not liking it as much as Uncharted.
Reading up on Diablo III, and I am getting more and more tempted to just bite the bullet and get it. Any good deals on it by any chance?
Haven't seen any special deals for it lately, you might be a little late on that one. Best you'll probably find is like a $10 gift card with purchase like Dell.com or something (though I don't know if they're having one or not).
Thanks seclusion, and sadly you may be correct. I've been looking out for deals the last few weeks, with no luck. Great suggestion on Dell.com, and I just checked, no dice.
I really want to buy Oddworld, but I'm hoping it'll end up on the PS Plus benefits list at a discount. Same with The Last of Us
Wish I could have been of more help! Oddworld: I could see it, especially with the current list of titles showing up on PS Plus. Last of Us: Don't hold your breath, they just sold 1.5 million copies in a few days.
I bought it on release, and played for a total of about 5 hours before selling it a week ago. I could't even bother finishing it - it was too damn boring.
It's a good game, don't think you'll be disappointed. I'll mention that it's big news that they've confirmed patch support for PS4/XB1. The next PC patch (2.1, to be released before the end of the month) is expected to alleviate a lot of issues that have caused the game to stagnate a bit. I expect to be glued to it when the patch comes out.
Yea me and my wife have spent like a hundred hours in it. The offline coop is awesome and you have to deal with all those restrictions on the PC version. Can't wait for the new expansion.
Hoping the install on Diablo 3 doesn't take too long. Wanna put in some time before I have to work tomorrow. Or at least get my character created. Will be off on Wednesday and available to play
