yeah supposedly the cop told them to get out the road or something and they obliged than he turned around for some reason and stopped his car... just going by what his friend said on CNN.

Which gave him time to wait for backup before engaging with the individuals... If it would have been more than one cop there the kid probably would have fully cooperated _ and if not they all could have handled him without having to shoot him multiple times. But this particular cop saw a 6'4 290 dude and wanted to play Billy Bad @** and look at the results of that... Cops are even doubling up and are calling for assistance nowadays for traffic violations. He should have known better.
Im willing to bet that the fact that the kid was huge had more to do with him being shot than the fact that he was black did
gives people an idea of how he might have responded to a cop telling him something... he was no saint, that is the main point of the vid. many people are painting a picture of some innocent black kid that was about to start college getting gunned down in the street with his hands in the air. gives people an idea that cops may be justified in shooting if a civilian is 'rude' or 'uncooperative' it detracts from the MAIN IDEA that cops IF SHOOTING, should SHOOT TO DISABLE are they trained well enough? these are the only truly relevant questions. anything else is just media fodder to detract
