There are a lot of poor white, asian, and latino neighborhoods yet I rarely ever hear them being shot in the back while unarmed. In fact I can't remember the last time I heard some poor white kid shot in the back while unarmed, or choked to death, or plungered in the ass. Yeah, the facts of the case are always how the killer states they are. That seems to be your frequent MO. ALL of the witnesses are lying except for the cop. That seems pretty unlikely.
Social mobility is low in America and has gotten lower. But of course you are the type of person who would be against programs/legislation to promote social mobility. You say that every person is granted an opportunity but poor, black people especially are granted less opportunity as a group than other people in America, especially white people.
Seems to me like the very same folks that jumped to erroneous conclusions in the Trayvon incident haven't learned their lesson. They're doing the same thing here. We really need to collect the facts here -- including the police's side of story. Gotta live and learn, people.

well, well, well....can it be? Another side of the story? You mean we can't just take the dude's word who was with Brown when he robbed the convenience store? Surely that guy isn't biased! And what about the rapper who saw the body after the fact? Let's learn from Trayvon and hear both sides of the story. Don't let first impression bias prevent you from reasoning properly on the facts.
what are we even trying to get to anymore.. reasoning to get to what? nothing is going to take away from the fact that this is just a symptom of larger and more perverse issues whether the guy was harrassing the cop or not.. nothing changes about the whole situation
This story seemed to me to be a lot clearer then the trayvon Martin case. First Zimmerman isn't law enforcement, Martin didn't just commit a crime. This case is pretty clear cut that Brown physically attacked an officer, after robbing a convenient store. I honestly have no sympathy for Brown, you've gotta be the dumbest piece of shet in the world to bumrush and police officer and then reach for his gun. I mean what the hell was he expecting out of that whole ordeal.
If the toxicology report comes back and the deceased was highly intoxicated, does it change the perception at all? If the ballistics show the deceased was not shot in the back, does that change the scenario?

If he's suspected of criminal activity and he's fleeing after the officer asked him to halt, I think there might be some discretion on how to stop him.
It's a valid point. Just like how I shouldn't complain about being raped in America since I would have been murdered in another country. Thanks!
Any word on when the autopsy results would be released. Depending on where he was shot could dramatically change the case.
Huffington Post reporter. Just saw on CNN were a total of 3 autopsies have been planned. Didn't see a date as to when these would occur. One was state, one federal and one per the family's request. So I guess we are just waiting until then for some hard facts.
