Sam Baker tore his patella tendon; same guy who was blocking Clowney on those back to back beastly plays

Smh at all the Keenum sympathizers. He can't get it done. He's a short Terrelle Pryor. Actually I'd rather have Pryor than Keenum

Because he looked a million times better than Savage who had a 79.2 rating. That is why QBR is crap. Passer rating is better.

Ummm, those ARE the passer ratings. I can't even find QBR for the preseason games.

Sorry, was looking at the cardinals game ratings.

Case still looked way better than savage.

Yea I have no preferences in terms of who the back-up is but based on last night Case moved the ball a lot better. Made some good throws while Tom really didn't move the team down the field and pretty much only checked down on all his throws. Could just be O'Brien keeping him close to the vest until he really gets a hold of the offense but anyone trying to bash Case for last night and slurp Tom is pretty much just hating just to incite the Keenumites.

Glad to see Fitzy moving around and making good throws, still doesn't mean anything until week 1. Most important thing last night was everyone seemingly coming out healthy.

Short passing and tough D..... it could work.

Andre might get 100 catches but only 1000 yards. Though, it was nice to see all our young receivers have some success.

Being a fan entitles one to get too depressed when the team looks bad and too excited when they look good. It is all an identification fantasy anyway. Nevertheless, thinking about Clowney and Watt together is intriguing. No, that is too mild. How about intimidating? Scary? Dominate? Dark Powers of Destruction!? No, too much. Anyway, they are going to be difficult to block, that is for sure. Also, it is so great to see competent special teams play with exception of the two missed extra points. In general, I am encouraged. Then again Atlanta may not be very good.

On the first one, the TFL on the RB, they actually did a weird trap thing where Baker went inside at the tackle and the guard was supposed to pull out and get Clowney. So only the sack was on Baker.

(Rookies) For the most part, most of them, some of them need to pick it up but Xavier, C.J., Clowney, Dre Hal, you're talking about guys who have come in and worked hard and are coachable. Pleased with their progress.

Max (Bullough) has picked up the system well for a rookie. To communicate the way he does...he put himself in position for playing time. Denham's play was a heck of a play. Denham has a long way to go. He's a hard working kid. He comes to work everyday.

(Practice with Broncos) Similar to ATL. I have to call him and shore up some things but similar to ATL. We'll go against them Tues., Wed., Thurs. No practice tomorrow. 3 tough days. Good to come out with a win. ... Good to go against a Super Bowl team. Good challenge for us.

(Fiedorwicz) Big, strong, intelligent player. Good blocker. Did a good job in the passing game. Gotta change his hands. He made a big improvement; gotta keep improving. We like what we see.

(Louis Nix) He has a long way to go. NFL shape, knowledge, NFL knowledge, what it takes to play in this league day in, day out.

    First 2 practices full pads.

Clowney has worked hard. Instinctive player. When he's played in these games, he has played well. He's done a lot of different things and needs to keep improving.

(Savage) He didn't know he would go into the game at that point. I wanted to see how he would handle it. To be thrown in there, he did a decent job managing that part, communicating the play, pointing out the blocking, he did a good job but has a long way to go like most rookie QBs. He's gotta get better at the basics. He's a hardworking kid. If he continues to work, he'll get better.

Blue and Grimes - Ran the ball well. Made runs where they had to make people miss. Both still are a work in progress relating to protections. We have to get them better at that. Overall, well in the run game and on special teams.

Anytime you win it's important. It's important for everyone, to know the work they put in, it's a tough camp. They've worked hard to go out and reap the rewards, that's a good thing.

Kendrick (Lewis) does a good job getting everyone on the same page. D.J. played better.

Case did a good job for the most part. Has to learn to get rid of the ball quicker. He moved the team. Tom is still a little behind Case. He has to keep working at it. They're fun to coach. They're smart, word hard, ask questions and love to compete. You want them to execute the offense and help the team win.

Keshawn Martin: One of the most improved players on the team. He's a ST KR/PR and have played him at all the spots at WR. He's improved a great deal. He needs to keep getting better because he can help us.

"Great" was just to tick off the Keenum haters but he looked the best out of the three. Even though he threw an interception into double coverage it was on the money and could have been caught.

He looked the best of the three? Good God you need psychiatric help if you really believe that. I understand you're a fan of his but open your eyes he didn't play well and he's not built to be a starter. Stop being a homer it makes you look stupid

Hating? I'm hating because I want my quarterback to score touchdowns and protect the ball which Case did neither last night. I wanted him to be the starter last season when Schaub was stinking up the joint but then when he got in he showed he's just flash and no substance. He's a college player just like Vince Young

He had one good throw to Labhart but besides that he was mildly underwhelming. No need to hate the proof is on tape homie
