Corrected official USA box score says: Anthony Davis had 23 points, eight rebounds and five blocks while James Harden added 15 points.
— Marc J. No i was some other forums, its not Dwight, they geniuenly hate the way he plays offense, people see him throwing himself into players and they cant understand it.
Team USA's "official" (not that it really is) box score is wrong. He had 8 points all from free throws at the half, 0-3, 0-3, 8-8, in the 2nd half he has that arm ripped where the brazillian guy was talking to the ref, 2 fts, that's 10, the 3 point play, that's 13, the late 3, that's 16, and there was another one in there, transition i think (and he also missed a layup). The reason why i think they credited the 3 was that Davis was 2-4 from the FT line, and shot no 3's (so how does he have an odd number? and how does Harden have an odd number with 1 3 and 11 fts?), Sheridan is right
Which is why i hope we can trade the NOP Pick ASAP and get some good value out of it. It is an attractive trade piece now but if Anthony continues to play this way the value could drop every game.

Totally agree with this. I was thinking the same thing. If Harden was 3-7 with 11 points from the foul line, there is no way he would end up with 15 points (least he could end up with is 17), and he definitely hit a 3 midway in the 4th. Same thing with Davis as you explained. Not that it mattered though. A win is a win. It is interesting how the USA team is letting Harden be the de facto point guard even though they have a team full of elite point guards like Rose, Irving and Curry. I do think Harden is probably the best pure point guard of that group. Should be interesting to see how it plays out going forward.
Spain really really worries me, the one thing i noticed is none of the front court can defend the post, even Splitter sort of abused them when they used him. and Spain's front court is full of post abuse.
I agree. I hope the comments here about Harden sucking or whatever were just trolling/joking. Cause I thought he did fine.
Why the hate for Harden scoring of FT's? At the end of the day he puts up points in an efficient manner. If he is not fouled, I can guarantee you that's a layup 90% of the times. Only thing he has to adjust is when refs are calling the game tight
