They still have decent single seats available. I'm stuck on the stinking lawn though.

I assume they have an opening act at 7pm and Soundgarden will not come out until 8 or so? I'm planning on catching the first half of the Texans game somewhere.

Love the lawn personally. Bring a blanket. If it's really crowded then bring lawn chairs. It's more about the atmosphere than the actual show.

Also at CMWP, the side sections are so wide that when you are in them it's like watching with one eye and listening with one ear; it feels like you're like 90 degrees to the stage. I won't go there if I can't get tickets in 102, 107 or 108. Even the side seats in the PIT are unbalanced, plus you only get stage monitor sound, the PA just goes over your head.

The show was great and it was jammed pack last night. Its the most I have seen at a show I have been to there since the Kiss/Motley tour in 2012.

This. I've never had a bad time at a show there.

You haven't been to Tinnley Park in Chicago. That place sucks. The Woodlands is like Carnegie Hall in caparison. Not saying it doesn't suck, but as a "shed-type" place there are much worse out there.

Nice man, sad that I missed it. I heard from a couple other friends that also said it was a great show last night.

Saw Maná in the seats. Saw Mötley Crüe with KISS last time they came there... I believe in 2012, sitting in the lawn section. It's not bad if you're not a stickler for sound and smelling everyone's smoking. :)
GRASS IS DRY 'THO? PROTECT YOUR HOLE. I'D RATHER BRING. A MAT TO SIT ON.
