in your fictional scenario the disrespectful reply seemed more ******* like. I wish more cops would tell people to get off the street. If they stopped their paramilitary training they might have the time and then the thread about pedestrian deaths would be moot.
I have a friend who was a cop and is now a detective. Almost every day on FB he posts some feed about an officer killed in the line of duty. Most of them are caught offguard by surprise. If knuckleheads would just respect the police, most of these tragedies would not occur. I don't have to deal with the Driving While Black stuff but I do know what doesn't work... sadly this thug found out before he had a chance to turn his ways around. We have an officer with AFAIK a spotless six year career who is supposed to have suddenly turned into a killer. It doesn't make sense.
Saw another article about a person who supposedly lives in the apartment complex that Brown was killed in front off. Apparently his twitter time stamps match the time line...what he is saying seems to support the other witness.....he also mentioned the stolen item before it was announced. This person claimed that Brown was shot twice while running, stopped turned around with his hands up and was gunned down. Any word on an autopsy?
If people would just respect other human beings we would be so much better as a society. It's a dog eat dog world and no one seems to have any respect for anyone.
The New Respect for police is like Cliven Bundy's crew . .. come at them with maximum weapontry Rocket River
I have a hunch that the day that the autopsy is released the police will also release news that Brown didn't pay his taxes last year...
So sad that I am now portrayed as an uneducated yokel. My parents are going to be pissed when I tell them all of the funds that they allocated towards that institution of higher learning was for nothing. And I carry 3 magazines because I have a holster for 3 magazines and twix would not fit and I could not keep it from melting.

Damn, you guys are good. You win the Nancy Reagan Just Say No Award for this enlightened, thoughtful resolution to the problem of largely white police forces having horrible relations with minority communities for the last oh forever.
Yes, I see why they answered the way they do. They've never experienced it, so it's hard for them to understand. "Just obey the police." It's not that simple- unless you're a white person. I've never, ever been harassed in my life for no reason. That is not the case with my black and Middle Eastern friends. I'd be glad to give them multiple examples of what I'm talking about. That's why I proposed in that other thread.
Asians and whites escape racial profiling and prejudice. So yes, while I personally have not been discriminated by the cops; that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
